$9.99 mens polo shirts at Kohl's

My husband has to wear white polo shirts at his job and we normally get these. They run a little short (DH is 6'5") so we normally have to get the Tall sizes. He often wears an XXL, but wears an XL Tall.

I wouldn't say they are GREAT quality, but for the price you can normally get them for, they're very good. The fabric isn't really soft or pliable, it's your normal cotton polo shirt material. Let me know if you need any other info :thumbsup2

Thanks for the quick reply!
I think I'll go ahead and order a couple and see if he likes them. He's 5'6" so no tall sizes needed! lol
Are they very think? He lives in Texas and it will be hotter than the sun soon. lol

We live in SC, so I understand 'hotter than the sun!' :rotfl: My husband wears then with a Tshirt underneath and he works outside all day, so they must be ok in the heat ;)

I just got a $10 off any purchase of $10 or more coupon for kohl's in the mail so keep an eye out for that! The polos I bought for my son there were great quality, not sure if they are the same though.

Not sure if they are the same shirts but here is my Kohls experience from last summer. I posted it then so sorry if it sounds like a repeat.

I have 2 sons (yound adults 19 &17) and 1 dh. Kohls was having a very good sale on their short sleeve polos. I remember it so well because I usually get them Lands end polos for the quality.

Anyway I brought 8 polos for all 3 in very basic colors. 3 black, 3 whites and 2 red.

After first wash: All the blacks faded dramatically!! I mean looked almost gray. The whites were fine but I use bleach on my whites so that may have helped. All of them shrunk. Returned the shirts with no problem and got 3 new blacks, 3 new whites.

2nd wash: Blacks kept their color a little better, not what I would call nice but not gray. Reds looked washed out and once again all shirts shrunk. They couldn't even tuck them into their pants, they shrunk so much.

Now if my kids were still growing I may not mind hte cheapo quality but my husband definitely keeps his polos for more than 1 season.

Polos are an essential in my house because the boys pt jobs require kahakis and polos.

I get them from lands end or llbean now. I rather pay the extra and have them last for a while.

I went to Kohl's yesterday to look at them (tottaly forgot I had one just a few miles from me :headache:) They seem nice enough. I did make sure to put up the receipt just in case. My DF will wear the same faded clothes for YEARS! especially shirts, so I try to buy him a few new ones every couple of months. He figures if it still fits and there are no holes so it's fine. Sure for wearing around the house but not when we go out! lol

Just bought DH 4 of the C&B piques polos. Wasn't sure about how they'd wash, but they were the only ones available in-store in talls, so we gave it a shot. He's worn each of them once and they've all washed ok so far. For $8 or less (I had a coupon) they'll be fine I figure you get what you pay for! The better polos are the GrandSlam brand golf shirts, IMO, but he already had some of that material and wanted something different.

My tip for drying clothes so they don't shrink is about 20 minutes on permanent press then hang dry. I do this with all of our good clothes which is practically everything LOL
