I have a question???? Is everyone really getting into pirate costumes? I was really thinking that my dd4 would...not sure if I should. :cool1:

Does anyone know if they will be doing the Princess Breakfasts? I don't want to pack a Princess dress for Ally if she won't need it... :confused3

Thanks for the help.

Does anyone know the current wireless charges? I will need to bring my laptop, and would like to get an idea of the costs...thanks!! :surfweb:

I have started packing...formal wear is packed, bathing suits, a few other things. The packing list is wonderful...I am going to print it out. :Pinkbounc

Dolores - on the 14 day cruise they had a princess at sea tea party event in the afternoons. I would bring the dress for your daughter - worst case is she can wear it for formal night.. lots of little girls do that.

As for pirate wear - my family vetoed the full pirate costume idea but I did get us all Pirates of the Caribbean t-shirts to wear.

PM me to let me know who all would like to do this, ok? I can keep a running list like I have for the Lunch Ladies & the Roster.

And, yes, I know there are more of y'all but, that would mean I would have to search the last half dozen pages....SO, instead PM me! LOL! Please! I've been clearing out my PM's so that no one will get a *full* message! :rotfl:

Please PM me if you need to change information or if you need to add or subtract information!!!

DO I need to add or subtract anyone??? Do you want your stateroom Cat or # added? At one time we had talked about doing a stateroom tour of the different Catagories.

I have tried to keep the list updated. I know there are LOTS of lookers on this thread ---- Please talk now. We want to get to know you! :wave2:  :wave2:

I'm going to try to keep this post within 5 pgs of the end -- did that make sense? I know there is a link to it on the first post but, I don't think everyone is reading that post.

Who is your favorite character? Which character are you most similar to?

It would be great to know everyone's favorite character to help with pixiedust gifts.

Linda's Favorite Character: Mickey!
I just e-mailed you a private pm. I have a black and white kitchen of Mickey. The decorating of my kitchen start with an animated black and white cell I bought at the disney store. I have hidden black and white mickeys everywhere. We are big Disney NUTS. :rotfl2: We have been to WDW about 30 times. :teeth:

Cheryl's favorite character:Mickey Mouse :mickeyjum :mickeyjum
John's favorite character : Mickey Mouse :mickeyjum :mickeyjum

John thinks I am more like the fairy godmother in Cinderella.
I think he is more like Grumpy!!!! Just kidding!!!

Cheryl

Cheryl...
I for one, would LOVE to see a picture of your kitchen...

my favorite character is: Mickey Mouse ::MickeyMo

AND the character I am most similar to depends on the day...
Snow White on some days...
other days I'm more like her step mother.. the Evil Queen... :lmao:

So I leave for Vegas on a weekend trip and end up having to read 10 pages!!!!! Welcome to all the newcomers, glad you can join us.

HiYaPal - No I didn't change my Palo reservation, I kept in on Tropical night, you really won't miss that much. I just have so many tropical outfits that I won't get to wear!!!!

I had a great time in Las Vegas, now I need this week to recover before I start going crazy planning for the DCL cruise!!

Oh ya my favorite charactes is Winnie the Pooh, but I am starting to really like Tink. My mom's favorite character (jiminyC_fan) is Jiminy Cricket.

Sally and I are going cruise shopping today. I'm going to run several ideas by her and this is one of them. I will let you know if she is interested in this or not. I know I am, but I want to see if she wants to join us.

Favorite Disney character? Captain Jack Sparrow!!! pirate:

But as for animated characters, my favorite is Stitch and Mike's is Goofy. DS's used to be Pluto but since he changes from time to time I asked him, but when I told him why I wanted to know he wouldn't tell me. He seems to not want to play along with the DIS group thing.

Should we all get together and link our dinner reservations? Let me know and I will be glad to figure out how to do the linking, unless someone knows how and wants to volunteer. Sounds like we would make a great table!!!

If Poohluv2u, micmse2003, and HiYaPal would like to send me their booking reservations via email, I'll be glad to get us linked for dining! Since Chris is a TA, I'm sure she can help all of us. My email link is at the bottom of this post!

Looking forward to meeting everyone soon. I'm getting so excited!

I'm not sure if this has been asked and I've really haven't had time to do a quick search on this. But does anyone know the currency used on the islands we are going too? I know Barbados is for ever 1 American dolllar it's 2 Barbados dollar. but I don't know about the others.

Good question! I normally keep that kind of info handy -- I'm in charge of telling the rest of the family home much something costs in US dollars. :) I need to find that info!

Thank you DisneyGirlTinkerbell for making us a door magnet! We can't hardly wait! (I pm'ed all of our info to you)

We are a family of 4, celebrating my DH's b'day on the 14th, who loves Tigger but let me put Cindrella and her prince ontop of our wedding cake :)
My girls are 6 and 3 years old- Jacqueline and Katie who are HUGE princess lovers- Cinderella and Belle generally- so we are hoping for some sort of princess event on board. :)

As far as the Pirate party- I bought the Mickey & friends Waikiki dress for me, matching dresses for the girls & matching shirt for my DH from disneyshopping online... *fingers crossed he'll wear it~ last Dec we went to MVMCP and I bought us matching sweaters- he wore it for a picture, then on another day when we weren't wearing ours ;)

I do have a question- which night would be best for a Palo ressie?
We can't decide...

And have they released when the live shows are? I would hate to plan an adults night out when there is a show the girls would love to see...

I'm going to make a "fish extender". Now, how long should it be? Any details on length and width and # of pockets? Since I have Tink fabric, guess I'll use that. Maybe some Mickey and Minnie things too.
.

All of mine are different lengths. <gg> The pockets are approx 7 - 8 inches across and the same deep. they range from 2 - 4 pockets. Depending on the number of people in a room. :)

Heres a couple of pics of the ones I made this weekend (they aren't quite finished being decorated) --

Good Morning Everyone!!!

I hope everyone had a Great weekend; I was basically a Chaffer and a shopping bag handler this weekend for my wife and Diznylnd while they were shopping.

Well guess what, anyone who had a GTY room should now have room assignments. Just looked at mine and no upgrades :sad1: . Oh well, just happy to be on board!!! :thumbsup2

Welcome all the new cruisers!!

on the subject of Characters:
Mine is (.......let me think...LOL): Goofy
Michele : Pooh Bear
Shelby: (hard to tell, she likes them all): Mickey and Minnie

talk to you guys later,

Steve

I found it out late last night. It's on an average for 1 American Dollar to between 2.00 to 2.75 Island dollars.

ST. Lucia
The unit of currency used in St. Lucia is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar (EC$) but a wide range of currencies such as US$, Canadian dollar, Euro and British pounds are freely convertible in our banks. The EC dollar is fixed to the US dollar at the rate of US$1.00 = EC$2.70 and varies in value along with it against the other world currencies

Barbados
The Barbados Dollar is converted at the rate of $1.98 BDS to $1.00 U.S.

Antigua
Official currency is the Eastern Caribbean dollar which is fixed to the US dollar. Recent exchange rate was US$1.00 = EC$2.65. US currency, travelers checks and major credit cards are welcome everywhere

St. Thomas

The only thing I could find here was it uses the U.S. Dollar.

On the 7 nt and longer cruises alot of adults dress up! We are all dressing up BIG TIME! I bought really cool costumes for us! Don't worry if you don't want to dress up! Just wear the bandana they give you at dinner. :)

Would it help if he got to know some of the other teens that are going? My 15dd (Pirana) has been talking to quite a few of the teens (the parents are all on this thread) that are going to be there! Including other 14 boys - David's (daipp) son and Crystal's (DisneyGirlTinkerbell) son.
