No Steve, you aren't the only one wishing it was Sept. The problem is that we are all wishing our summer away. Ah heck, who cares. WONDER here we come!

We are wishing our summer away too. September can not get here soon enough.

Just to update the rosters, we are in rooms 2575 and 2577.

I guess my next item I search for will be a fish extender. Never heard of this before this thread.

Does anyone have travel plans for the 4th of July. We have a couple of parties and a baseball tournament we are involved in. I am sure the next few days of fun will fly by for everyone.

Just to be CLEAR...
I would like to be on the ship since YESTERDAY...
I watched it leave port yesterday and was ALL bent out of shape to watch it leave without ME. :guilty:

Heidi and Wan... I got your room numbers added to my list... I'm sending it to Alex and Stephanie to add to the roster.
Sandy

Please PM me if you need to change information or if you need to add or subtract information!!!

DO I need to add or subtract anyone??? Do you want your stateroom Cat or # added? At one time we had talked about doing a stateroom tour of the different Catagories.

I have tried to keep the list updated. I know there are LOTS of lookers on this thread ---- Please talk now. We want to get to know you! :wave2:  :wave2:

I'm going to try to keep this post within 5 pgs of the end -- did that make sense? I know there is a link to it on the first post but, I don't think everyone is reading that post.

hhhmmm... On Saturday, the 1st, we are having youngest dd's family b-day party (she's turning 5), Sunday we wil be driving about 7hrs rt to take middle dd (Pirana) to camp for 2wks :sad1: Our youngest dd is going to feel lost for those 2wks -- they are big time buddies!!

Monday & Tuesday are probably going to be spent packing up our downstairs so, that all the work can get done -- painting walls & ceiling, closing up a wall, removing the mantle, putting texture on several walls & doing lots of *repair* work. Then hopfully that will be done soon so, that I can get my new furniture delivered!!! :Pinkbounc
I feel like this house stuff has been going on forever! LOL! And I can't believe that i've already said that I want to do the upstairs next year! (We've lived in the house over 15yrs & it's time to update! LOL!)
At least my kitchen is nearly finished -- most of the texturing is in the kitchen where we removed wallpaper. :)

That will be our exciting 4th of July!!!! :rotfl2:

The kids and I got home yesterday from one tennis tournament (and DD's 17th birthday!) and now we're off to the next one. We'll miss the 4th (again!) this year...which is too bad because our little town really puts on a nice celebration. :sunny: College recruiting officially begins tomorrow, so this is a very important summer for DD. Signing is in November, but we're hopeful that she'll have her schools narrowed down before the cruise. :)

Happy Fourth! And Happy Planning!

I Just got an e-mail advertising round-trip Air from Disney
for only $199 per person for the 10 day and 11 day cruise.

**$199 per-person air offer valid from most gateway cities offered on Disney Cruise Line air program in the continental United States with airport locations west of the Mississippi River. Air rates valid for stateroom Categories 4−11. Discounted air rates do not include air taxes, fees or PFCs. Air rates based on economy class, round-trip to/from central Florida airport location. Air travel must be purchased through and selected by Disney Cruise Vacations. Other discounts do not apply. Rates in U.S. dollars. See Disney Cruise Line brochure for details and applicable terms and conditions.

Also in the e-mail was this

"Muppets Ahoy! Enjoy the premiere of our new, original Disney stage show created just for these special cruises!"

So cheap airfare for those who have not booked and a new show.

Steve

Steve - I saw that too. I wonder if they are having a hard time filling these special cruises? :confused3

I hope she had a WONDERful b-day!

I booked the DCL air. With taxes, it is $134.20/person r/t from Norfolk,VA. As this includes transfers and I couldn't find anything less than $200 from Newport News or Norfolk, I figured I'd grab it. Now I just have to wait and see what kind of flights I'll have. Wish me luck.

WOW! We bought our airfare months ago -- not through DCL. I can't remember the price but, I do remember it was quite a bit cheaper then what DCL wanted to charge me at the time. :) And with 7 people it adds up! LOL!

I know someone was complaining recently that DCL didn't always book direct flights.... We have to have a direct flight because it would drive DH crazy if we didn't. :lmao:

Just a little note to let everyone our DD14 won the first game of the tournament. We are now off to a birthday party then its on to another game.

Where did everyone find the advertisement for the new show, Muppets Ahoy? I am glad to see that Disney is adding something new. I love the shows they have, but something new is always great.

OK... I've only been on ONE other cruise and it happened to be the Magic's Maiden Voyage to Mexico after it did the Panama crossing... there were alot of DISers onboard the MAGIC and THEY were the ones that had all this stuff going on...and ONE of them, whose name I won't mention, cough-ALEX, stayed on the ship and did the Mexico cruise also... (just thought I'd mention that) anyway...

DOOR TAG... This was fun. On the Panama Canal cruise we had two door tags circulating. We played door tag on the days at sea.

FISH EXTENDER... These were found by one of the DISers on the Panama Canal cruise at a craft store. She bought as many as they had to use as give-a-way gifts. Other DISers had gifts of all kinds that they put in the fish extenders. These gifts were things like pens, pencils, candy, notepads, magnets, pirate stuff (pins, eyepatches, coins candy, tatoos), etc.. My items had Mickey on them, M&Ms had custom sayings, and alot came from Oriental Trading Co.. Most had labels stating who they were from. It was always fun to see what was in your fish extender!

PIRATE NIGHT...
I agree, this is such a fun night... the most fun about it is that you dress up like a Pirate as did the Crew Staff.

SCAVENGER HUNT... This was on the Panama Canal Cruise. Each team got a series of clues, had to run around the ship, and take digital pictures of each place with one team member in each picture. This needs to be set up ahead of time and may be difficult to do while not aboard the ship.

Steve (GoofyGuy) received an email from DCL with the information about the new show.

New to the boards. I got the same ad too! They are also including free ground transportation with the airfare. I am just glad to see I am not the only person going to be on the ship.
