DisneyGirlTinkerbell - I have a high tea ressie for 4 people on Friday the 15th. I highly doubt that my DH will want to go with me so if you and a few other ladies would like to join me - that would be great.

That's odd about the luggage tags... In years past, ours came with my name as the Lead Name (since the ressie was in my name) and each person had their own name on the tags as well. Maybe they changed it to just listing the ressie name only.

Doodlebug's Mom: Pineapple Beach probably do have snorkel equipment but we always bring ours. My kids have to have a dry snorkel and my youngest has really BIG feet (size 11--and he's only 13!), so we have to make sure his size is available.

Yes, Lisa and McKinley and my daughter Ally will be going to Pineapple Beach...although...Ally could change her mind and want to stay on the ship in the kids room, ...

Lisa received her Documents today....lol...via UPS... they also had my name on the luggage tags...which were different than usual she said...I have to get mine today...hopefully...and see what the difference is...hers had my name on them.

Please help out this first time cruiser. I saw a previous post that mentions the all ashore is at a certain time.
Does that mean that's when you can start getting off the ship or does that mean that if you want to enjoy this port you have to get off now?
If I don't plan any excursions and just want to spend time shopping or at the beach, I may want to wait to disembark a little later than everyone else.

Yes he brought me my DOCS this afternoon! And we have done the doc dance! lol

As for the luggage tags, in prior cruises they were the shape of a regular NAME /ADDY tag. these are the tyoe of tag that the Airline puts on your luggage with bar codes etc.. Sticky on one side, name, cabin # and ressie ID on the other.

Everything is looking up over here. He is doing much better now that some of the medication is wearing off. I am not so concered about being gone now that he is functioning almost normally again. He saw a neurologist yesterday that made us feel better about the whole thing though, they are still not sure what is causing the seizures. Another test to figure that out. He is acting like himself again so that is a good sign. Hopefully he'll get the EEG soon. it feels nice to talk (or write about it). I feel guilty planning for my trip while he is sick, but their is nothing I can do now.

No the ones that are 12" long and are folded over with bar codes on it,
and they give you the bottom portion and attach it to your docs in case your luggage doesnt arrive,

You have to have an account with a web hosting site. Photobucket.com or uploadit.org are the two that I use. Once you have an account, just upload the image there. Once it's upload it will be listed in your folder. Open the link to the picture. When the page comes up copy the address of the picture from the browser. Come back here and open a post. under the font, size, color line is the B I U line. 9th button over is the yellow one that looks like a picture. Hit it. A pop up will come up for you to paste the address into it. Hit ok and the picture will show up in your post.

If want to add a picture to your sig, you do the same thing.

I'm curious what do the ladies wear for formal nights? Are they talking full length gowns? 3/4 length? Do the ladies typically wear black/dark, or are theyre pastels worn etc? I'm going nuts trying to figure out what to pack! Do alot of the guy's wear tuxedos? Please Help!!AHH!

We've only done the 3nt DCL cruises (they dont' have a Formal night)... But, what we are wearing on this cruise for Formal night....
Guys - tuxes
Girls - we all have long gowns (15dd might wear a short dress one of the Formal nights).

If you need to buy a dressy gown I highly suggest the department sotres (Dillards, Foleys, Macy's, Penny's......) since summer is clearance time for long gowns! Several of us have got some GREAT deals!!! I even got a great deal at Neiman Marcus.

My job is I work for the movie studios as an independant contracter and do trailers, sneak peeks, lobby checks, capacity checks and audience reactions.Friday and some times Saturdays our MY DH date nights except I get paid for it.

The movie Step Up is about a high school boy dancing at a high school of Arts. He was in a gang and found there is better things in life.

You have a fun job!

Pirana & I want to see Step Up!!! She's a ballet dancer and loves watching others dance!

Dh says that he thinks it would be soooo cool if they did POTC & POTC2 back to back on the ship!

Are you the one that booked the room? I think the room is only in one name... I know for our kids room everything is sent in 26ds's name & never his sister........ Our TA even keeps telling DCL *They are brother & sister NOT husband & wife*
