Happy 4th of July everyone!


Two months from today we will be on our way!!

I started to work on the spreadsheet, but it got a little confusing! So I am trying to find an easier way to list the information!

I also came up with 15 cabins???

You are probably right with that number...I never said I could count straight when flipping between pages

60 More Days! Wow, lots of people signing up all of a sudden. I better be getting busy on my gifts. I believe I had 15 finished before I went to bed last night. I am counting 55 people on the FE list so far.

Yikes..counting us...I come up with 59 people if you count extended family with CandlelitCarousel. Also, now 16 cabins...

Has anyone contacted the Fort Fiends? They're supposed to/were supposed to be on this cruise, and I know they were doing a FE list as well.

Please let me know if anything is incorrect/needs to be upated etc. I am open to ANY suggestions on ways to organize this any better! I wanted to break it down to number of adults, boys, girls, etc but I didn't know what the cut off should be for a child vs. adult. So please let me know your thoughts & ideas!!

Usually, each child has a pocket of their own. Sometimes each adult has a pocket, but not always. In our case we have a mom/dad combo pocket at the top. I personally try to make each child (teens included) their own gift bag. I tend to do adults in a more relaxed manner (assuming the grownups can handle it if they don't get exactly the same thing as each other ). I don't always do gift bags for the grownups, but sometimes just put fun or useful things in their pocket. It really depends on what I can find.

The best shopping idea can offer is to start hitting the stores over the next few weeks as summer stuff goes on sale, then again in August when they will be on final clearance... plus the back-to-school stuff will be out and maybe even marked down before our cruise (we start school August 10th here, so I know that is the case in my area). You can grab lots of stuff for not a huge chunk 'o change in the bargain bins.

Hi Everyone -
Two things....
Please do not include my extended family in the plans you are making. They have not been told about this, so are not participating. There are just the four of us.

I would "vote" for an earlier closing, as 20 days seems really tight to me. I know I will be dealing with last minute stuff at this point, and would like to have the FE's completed, and ready to go.

(okay, three things)....
It is very possible that gifts will be of a variety for/from me, as I am doing "a dozen of this, and a dozen of that" kind of shopping. Things for boys are sure a bigger challenge than things for girls..

Same for us - please only include the 4 of us in cabin 7682 - my Mom does not want to participate so cabin 7684 can be excluded.

SO looking forward to this - almost have my FE finished!

I just saw the FE list and 4 of us are all in cabins in the 7680's... guess we will all meet face to face too!! I can't wait for this - it's going to be SO much fun!
