9/26 Wonder is leaving on 9/27 out of???

This is the email I got tonight:


Ok..so this is an old email but they didn't send me the new one yet..but I looked on Disney Website and it says we will leave out of? But won't leave until Monday and have a 3 day cruise but unsure if we will be able to stop at Nassua or CC. Discounts will be offered..I am on hold now to find out what they are.

Due to Hurricane Jeanne the Disney Wonder will be departing two hours early
(3:00 PM) on September 26.

If there are changes we will alert you via email immediately. We will also
contact you via telephone.

If you have not spoken to our office today please reply to this email with

That is actually an old email. A new one was sent out notifying us that it was a mistake.

What a bummer, we know Disney doesn't have much choice here and there are way worse things than loosing a day off your trip. We are sailing on the 25th (well we hope so anyway) but our best friends were going out on Sunday for a speical Wish Foundation Cruise. Our 10 year old God Daughter has just come through a terrible but thus far successful year battling cancer. And her wish was go to on the Disney Cruise, especially since she's heard so much about it from her "cousins".

They are going to be seriously dissappointed, and re-scheduling isn't going to be easy, with the Wonder going into dry dock after this cruise. They're not sure what the foundation will be doing at this point. We not so unselfishly hope that they might consider putting them on the Magic on Saturday instead. I expect that there may be a few cancellations as a result of the storm. It would be a blast to share this experience with them.

So keep them in your thoughts as well as all of those who will be sad and disappointed about their trips. And of course big prayers to those in Jeanne's path.

Gosh, allears, I hope they do put them on the Magic -- that would be wonderful for both of your families.

It is a lot to wish for Marcy and we feel a bit guilty about it, but it sure would be a cool way for the Lord to make this situation really excellent. Our DGD is actually named after my wife and she, DGD has been maddly in love with my middle son since birth. It would be more than a wish come true, it would be a total dream come true. But again it is a lot to hope for.

No matter what, I'm sure it will work out so that whenever they go, they will have a wonderful time. Our DGD certainly has earned it for her courage and determination to win this battle.
