Is anyone here DVC members?

And is anyone celebrating anything on the cruise? My birthday is the Monday before and there is no place I rather be than with Mickey on the High Seas!

Also how many people are embarking on their 1st cruise...2nd, 3rd, etc.?!

If there is anyway I can help please don't hesitate to ask!

We are DVC - own at SSR and LOVE DVC!!!!! We are celebrating our 18th anniversary though the actual date is in Nov. My hubby's b-day is in October - I should have listed that too. We're on our 4th cruise, 2nd DCL. We love cruising.

Is anyone a golfer?

Also, do we have any coffee fanatics?

Mini-golf fan! I am a huge coffee fanatic and must have real cream - no powder stuff, no little container stuff; give me the real half and half or heavy cream (I didn't mean to grow up to be a cream snob; it just happened) - it is my morning indulgence.

Sounds like lots of folks R&Ring on CC. We love it! I have heard our favorite spot got gobbled by the expansion, so I guess we might have to find a new one. :sad1:

Resting for us too - lounging in a chair in the water waiting for my frozen fru-fru drinks to be brought to me... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Misty , remember bar-B-Q- lunch on the island is at 11:30, Dw and I will buy.:laughing: :lmao: :rotfl2:

We will have to take you up on that offer!:lmao: I will have to remember to tell my husband that the ribs are horrible :rolleyes1

I like miniature golf - does that count? :rotfl: Just joking - I wish that I was good at golf, unfortunately I was not made to hit small objects far distances - oh well - I do like to walk on the golf course though:sad2:

That having the frozen fru-fru drinks brought to me in the water blew my mind last time. That was the bomb! I think our guy's name was Wellington (is that right, Kamy?) and he was awesome!

I was just making Palo diner reservations, and noticed that they have High Tea reservations available. Just thought I'd let you guys know for those of you who are interested.

Nu uh!! What exactly is High Tea and how does it compare to brunch? Thanks for the heads up!!

Being this will be my first Disney cruise,I can't really answer your question Jen. I hope previous Disney cruisers chime in,because I'd like to know too :)

Mine too but I read it is HARD to get reservations for it including a 7 day cruise. I booked 3 people so 4 people is still available. I figured I can always cancel if I dont think I would like it. I posted the question in the main cruise forum. I am sure there is SOMEONE that can answer it. Thanks though :teeth:

What is everyone doing the day we are in Nassau? I am trying to decide what we want to do - did the Segway tour last time - that was a lot of fun! Was thinking about maybe doing the Adastra Gardens on our own. Has anyone heard anything about that?

Got high tea - :thumbsup2 In Nassau, we may go buy one or two things for Christmas gifts for the kids, but we are talking about either doing something at Atlantis or staying on the ship - haven't decided. On our very first cruise years ago, we stopped in Nassau. Hubby had a major migraine but trooped through shopping and giving local kids basketball cards in the morning. We were back on the ship by lunch so he could be in the dark. We need to make plans without thinking about that one. :)

I may do the straw market if there is a crowd going but otherwise, I will just stay on the ship. It still wiggs me out going to another country, but I dont want to miss out on anything.

We will be taking the kids to Ardsatra Gardens on our own too. DH & I have been before without the kids,& know the kids will enjoy it. We've been to Nassau so many times that we don't really feel the need to do much while in port at Nassau. Still debating whether or not to bring the kids to Atlantis to see the aquarium...

We have plans to go to the Aquarium at Atlantis to check that out. I've never been to Nassau before so I'm not sure if we'll go back to the boat or look around the Straw Market after that. Probably just go back to the boat.
