oh and who is Ali G? Sorry i must be lame to have no idea...lol

:lmao: Neither do I -- boy Zorgs, Zurgs and Ali G :confused3

Now I DID notice I didnt see any Rob Zombies or Marilyn Mansons! Now THEM I know! :goodvibes

We were at the party on 9/22 as well. We found it to be very crowded. The lines for candy were very long and just to get from tomorrowland to toontown took forever. we walked the trail in toontown to space mountain and got lots of candy and met the mad hatter and white rabbit. there was a whole family dressed like the characters from toy story... bo peep, woody, jessie, and zurg. everyone loved the guy as zurg and i heard someone ask him for his picture. he said that he couldn't because disney wouldn't let him. i later saw him get escorted out of the park because he was doing just that. the costume was pretty cool though.

we got our pictures taken with the villians after the show. we stayed until the last one. we got the evil queen, maleficent, queen of hearts and jafar.

we also met characters in adventureland. next to where you get dole whips they had an area open where you could get candy and meet characters. we saw timon and rafiki and then tarzan, jane, and terk.

the parade was awesome! we loved it. we saw the 2nd one and it was great. we loved the headless horseman and all the characters. it was fun to see such rare characters. Christopher Robin, Pain and Panic, Clarabelle and Horace, and of course Captain Jack Sparrow.

we left at 11:50pm and didn't see any candy getting passed out by the exit. we were hoping for it though!

we won't do this party again. it was fun to try, but way too crowded and felt too rushed.

We went on the 22nd also and had an absolute blast. I thought it was very crowded when we came in through the turnstiles at 7pm. Lots of traffic on main street.

We had decided that since it was our last day at wdw and since we hadn't got time to come back to mk and ride fav's that was our goal that night.

We did get stuck over in adventureland but wiggled our way through the crowd to liberty square and decided that it was fate to watch the first parade.

We watched the fireworks by the carousel in fantasyland and just walked up to a great spot at the last minute. Fireworks were some of the best I have ever seen.

We stayed until 12pm saw parade, fireworks, hit one candy line, rode poc 2x, splash mountain, btr, iasw, peter pan, winnie pooh, space mountain 2x, and buzz lightyear, and haunted mansion. We probably didn't really get into the park until about 7:30 with the crowds. I was pleased with all we got to do in such a short time.

I agree it should be longer because I did want to see some villians but just didn't have time for that.

I was at the same party- it's funny b/c I was wondering what time we left when they were passing out the handful of snickers-- I got a pic of the clock time we left! and it was right from the candy spot! If you look at the clock it looks like 12:15am-- we exited the park to the right of the trian station, went through the right side turnstiles and the candy spot was to the immediate left, dead center of the train station.

We were there as well on 9/22, it was a little crowded but we had a blast! We waited most for characters, candy and ride lines all moved quickly we thought :thumbsup2

And we seen Zurg as well, boy that was a tough one to explain to my 6 yr old. :sad2:
When we first spotted him, (which was about 11:30 on the way out, thank goodness) we all thought he was "Zurg" the costume was that good. But getting closer it hits me that he wasnt the "real" Zurg. He and his family/friends dressed like Toy Story characters, were in line to have a picture by the big blow-up Mickey. Thats where we were heading and trying to explain that it wasnt really Zurg to my son, just wasnt going well. :rolleyes1

He just didnt "get it" he wanted a picture with Zurg. I was thisclose to asking the guy for a picture when my son started a mini-meltdown so we got out of line and left. Once outside he was fine, but the "Zurg" thing still bugs him. He says the other day "Next year I am looking for Zurg" oh boy! :rolleyes1

We were there too. :cool1: It was our first MNSHHP. And yes we found it a bit crowded but we had a blast. I loved getting to meet all the villians in front of the castle. How cool was that :thumbsup2 . I am going to post a picture of us in our costumes and let me know if you saw us. Unless your the lady we had a run in with at the parade. :rolleyes1 Anyway thats another story for another day.

We saw you!

I told my friend that she must have made that outfit.

Did you?

We were dressed as Mario and Luigi (Mario Brothers).

Perhaps you saw us as well?

No I didn't make my costume. I am not any good at sewing at all. :sad2: I ordered them both from some place on the internet. I don't think I saw you it was so dark and there were so many people everywhere and we were rushing all around. Your costumes sound neat though. You gotta love the Mario brothers! :)

By the way, we ate at Libert Tree right before the party started and all the cast members were totally into the spirit of the night.

When checking in, they asked so, mario, where are you from (so they can call out your name when the table is ready), so I said um... Mario World.

And that is how they announced us...

"Mario and Luigi from the great place of Mario World"

Every one was cracking up and the father of some kids who were there started making joystick motions with his hands, which we then made movements to.

I didnt see you :guilty: BUT the lady you had a run in with-- she wasnt drinking and had a huge balloon with her and didnt put it down so the rest of us behind her could see.......hmmmmm?? :confused3

I am going to start a new thread and just ask that anyone who has a balloon tied to their stroller etc and wants to be in the front of everyone at the parade- be nice and pull it down while its going on. I didnt say anything to her though.

JUST THINK! people are probably watching the 2nd parade right about now! :guilty:

:rotfl2: No she didn't have a balloon. She was one of those- part the red sea so my kid can be in the front even though you have been here 45 minutes and I showed up 5 minutes before it started. :furious: The thing was the people on the curb were all sitting and she pushed her stroller up behind them beside us and the kid could see perfectly over their heads. But then she wanted us to move to. Where to???????????There were so many stinking people we couldn't move an inch without be poked in the butt, stepped on or step on someone. The thing was the kid was perfectly happy. :sad2:

Hi Transitauthority...we saw you dressed as Mario and Lugi and thought it was a GREAT costume!!

I think my husband and I rode on Splash Mountain with you guys -- we were dressed as Salt and Pepper (with the silver chef hats as our shaker tops).

Anyway -- we remember your costumes and they were great!!

~Nicole

7beasley-I was sitting at the 2nd parade and saw you pass. I thought your salt and pepper costumes were a great idea and very cute. :thumbsup2

If you don't mind me asking, where did you find these costumes? I have seen Mario costumes online but not Luigi

7Beasley,

Hey there... yes you sat right in front of us on splash mountain. Your costumes were very cute!

Sadly, my Mario hat fell off into the briar patch somewhere on that final drop...I never found it.

Oh no transitauthority -- so sorry to hear about your hat!

Hi cats04 - thanks for the nice comment!

This was our first MNSSHP and we LOVED it!! However, I am not loving all the candy in my house right now since I just can't bear to throw it away but I also can't stop eating it!

Have a good night!

Hey Willis,
We seen you all. :goodvibes You were walking into Frontierland just past the bridge and my DS and I were sitting on the right eating a dole whip. I was dressed in all black with my face painted white and my DS was wearing a black cape with a brown tunic underneath. You all looked great! :thumbsup2
We had a great time at MNSSHP; everyone was very receptive to us. While waiting in line at Casey's for our food later we all sang "take me out to the ball game"! My DH was very jealous he didn't go.
