The characters:
Myself: lover of all things Disney -we even have a Disney bathroom.

DH: lover of me and therefore must go to Disney when I want to!!!!

We were on the free DDP for 4 days of our trip. I added a day to the beginning and it was too late for the free plan so we just got the room. So here goes.....

Friday 9/21
Breakfast: Burger KIng at the Philly airport-the usual fast food
Lunch: Pop Century Food Court
2 chicken strips and ff, lemonade and iced tea. Great as usual. It was an early lunch and wasn't crowded at all.
Pre-dinner: We rode the monorail to the 3 hotels and had a drink in each. It was a lot of fun. We watched everyone go into Chef Mickeys and outside of Ohanas almost everyone was dressed up for MNSSHP at MK.
Dinner: Beaches and Cream
2 burgers and ff, water to drink---I was very disappointed in the overall service and atmosphere. When we walked up to the podium we noticed the restaurant was almost empty. WE were told the wait would be 45 minutes!!!!! After waiting a few minutes the people who checked in behind us were seated. WE then waited another 20 minutes while DH went up to check, we were told soon. Finally we were seated at the counter. We watched a new CM make sundaes wrong and then have to do them over again and throw away the first. Also everyone looked like they would rather ahve been anywhere else but here!!! But the food was good!!!

Saturday 9/22 EPCOT

Breakfast: oatmeal bfst cookies from home

Lunch: Seasons Food Court/the Land
DH Asian Platter, iced tea, and chocolate cake
ME: Cuban veggie sandwich, coke, butterfinger cheesecake.
DH liked everything. My sandwich was delicious and the cheesecake was excellent. Better than Wolfgang Puck's.

Dinner: Coral Reef
Dh: Land and sea app, steak, choc cake
me: Lobster soup, steak, creme brulee
We were seated in the farthest table from the tank, but we had personalized menus and a chocolate "Best Wishes" banner on our dessert plate. Food was good but our waitress was not too friendly. She took our appy, dinner and dessert order all at once. And then kind of ignored us. Also it was very noisy!!! would visit again to give them another try.

Snack: Mickey bars. YUMMMMMM

Sunday 9/23 Magic Kingdom

Breakfast: Bars and drink from bakery on Main ST

Lunch: Pinocchio village haus
DH: Sub sandwich with apples, strawberry dessert, iced tea
me: Med salad, choc cake, coke
Good as usual. Husband said roll was not very good, wheat just doesn't work on a hoagie. Loved watching IASW boats and people waving as they went by.

Dinner: Liberty Tree Tavern
We had to wait about 15 mins to be seated for our 5:45 adrs. It was very crowded. Again our table was not in the best spot. It was right by the kitchen this time. But we watched a CM the entire time whose only job was to set up clean place settings (Plates, napkins, silverware) for the servers. We were fascinated by it but I don't really know why!!!! We liked all of the food and would go back again. We had a Mickey glitter heart on our table and all of the characters wished us Happy Anniversary in their own quiet way!!!!

Monday 9/24 AK and DTD

Breakfast: cherry danish and chocolate croisant from Movies food court used snack credits

Lunch: Flame Tree BBQ
DH: ribs, ?
me: pork sandwich, lemon icee and coke
Pork was very good and lemon icee hit the spot. Dh wished he got the sandwich. Ribs were kind of messy and not a lot of meat. I don't remember what he got for dessert.
Dinner: Wolfgang Puck
DH: Quesadilla, pork chop, carrot cake
me: artichoke and cheese dip, macadamia encrusted chicken, cheesecake
I think we were seated in the children's area. Every table had 2 or 3 kids who were very tired!!!! But our view was great. Appys were good but huge!!!! My chicken was delicious. Pork chop was very thick and did not seem done enough but DH ate it all and was fine. Cake was good. Cheesecake was better at the Land

Tuesday 9/25 MGM
Breakfast: 2 bagels and drinks from food court we used snack credits

Lunch: Backlot Express
Shared a turkey focacia (sp) sandwich, fries and strawberry dessert.
It was very good. and plenty to share. I also had a frozen coke and we bought an extra drink.

Dinner: 50's Prime Time Cafe
DH: shrimp cocktail, steak, brownie sundae
me: onion rings, pot roast, smores, vanilla coke
The food was very good. I did like the pot roast better when it was separated and not in a big bowl. First time I had the smores. I could only eat a little but it was fun.

Wednesday 9/26
Since we had shared lunch the day before, we shared a breakfast platter and a danish (we used our last snack credit for that). Good as usual

All in all we enjoyed all of our meals. Especially since they were FREE and I didn't have to make them!!!! After adding up all of what we ate we got over $580.00 free and spent $123.00, which was mostly on our first day before our DDP kicked in. We made our bounce back ressies before we checked out. Can't wait to make our ADRS!!!! Thanks for reading and hope it wasn't too boring.

Enjoyed reading your reviews, thanks for posting.

thanks for the reviews - last time we'd gone to coral reef it was the same for us - food ok, service lousy - haven't been in a few years, are trying it again in 4 weeks - hoping for the best....
