UPS shows our documents shipping yesterday from Orlando. Logging in at Jacksonville at 11 am this morning and should be here Monday.

We're considering going to Orlando on Tuesday instead of Friday. DH is so ready to get on this vacation and has always wanted to do a 2 week vaca. I need to call and see if there are DVC rooms available. Hopefully we can just add on to our Friday night reservation.

Sorry you are feeling yucky... Do you have Lupus??? I have had it for years but it went into remission every time I became pregnant... now its been the longest without flare ups but recently have started again and was on plaquenil for awhile... have to watch the sun when we go..

Thanks for checking on me...no news yet...had a bad, bad day yesterday...waiting on a DNA-ANA test to come back...could take a week or so. My doctor feels it is a allergy to a medicine I take but we are trying to figure out which one...HCTZ (blood pressure) is her 1st thought but still had burning yesterday (starts in chest and spreads to face - feels like a heat lamp/severe sunburn (I have not been in the sun since the 15th) on my face and then my eyes start swelling.) and did not have the HCTZ. We had to watch the burns yesterday to make sure they were not turning into blisters. So odd and so uncomfortable. Did you experience anything like this? They started in late May and have progressed since to a daily, constant occurance.
Been better today...redness but not burning/inflamation.

Hi... I am sorry I am about to be a downer,,, so if you don't want to read this post, I totally understand...

I need to get something off my chest, that has been weighing heavily on my mind...and my heart....

I work with a 10 year old boy that was so badly beaten and burned and left for dead by his mother's boyfriend that he has acquired brain injury... he walks with a limp from the beatings...these are just the physical scars... I can't even imagine the emotional ones. He spent a lot of time in ICU and in rehab and its a miracle he is alive.

I brought him and his little brother (who was also badly hurt) a towel with mickey on it from my last trip in July... I want to bring something special back for them again...anyone have any ideas??

He is such a special little guy and he now has no contact with his bio family and lives in a foster home. Likely he will never get to Disney

I am trying to get him a wish for make a wish foundation but I think you have to have a life threatening illness. His was at the immediate time after the beating, as he was in a coma etc.. but he is not now... How can I bring a bit of magic to these two boys... (this is when I wish I had lots of money to buy them a trip....)

Anyone have any ideas???

That really breaks my heart...if it is ok we would love to send something to him too. I have an extra Mickey tie-dyed shirt we made, size 7/8 would that work for him or maybe the brother? We will get something from the ship too....can we also put a postcard for the boys in your FE? I am going to mention them to my kids so that we can think of something special for them...I hope that will be ok. I want them to know that people do love and care for them...and hopefully we can send some of that their way! Thanks for mentioning them to us...my thoughts and prayers are with you and them.

Also texasbloke - sorry I cannot keep straight who is surprising their kids - my brain is full ...we started that route and it did not last long...I admire you and your diligence of keeping it a secret. Great that our kids are the same age...look forward to meeting! I keep telling myself that I need to re-read the posts I skimmed thru while working...but have not been able to yet .

FYI: we booked Wishes dessert party during the HP on the 18th. Looks awesome and you have a perfect spot to watch the fireworks and parade. Here is the info:

We just jumped towards our trip by 4 days. DH came in the kitchen earlier today and asked if we could go on down to Disney early before the cruise. Now if it was up to him we would go on today but no can do.

So we are now leaving after he gets in from work Monday night instead of Thursday night. Also I've changed our reservation to a 1 bedroom at BWV. Much more comfy for an almost-week stay. We're also getting the quick-service dining plan.

Now all I need to do is by the other annual pass and we'll be set.

I looked mine up (Nevada's pretty far west!) and it says UPS won't be delivering it until Tuesday, Sept. 1st! Gosh, that seems to be a LONG way away when waiting! But, at least I know they're on the way! 3 weeks from tomorrow!!!
