Has anyone had a 9:15 or 9:20 dinner reservation at Chef Mickey's?
How did you like it?
Was it too late?
We are considering going at 9:15 on Sunday 9/4 after being at MK all day.
I just do not want them to run out of our favorite foods and the food to be mediocre.

I can't really answer to how was Chef Mickey for dinner that late... If it were for myself, I don't think I would want to eat at a buffet restaurant that late.

As for the questions above, I can answer them from my own experience.
Did I like Chef Mickey? Not at all... Truly for me the worst TS dining experience I have ever had at WDW. Loud, un-kept food stations, terrible service (overwhelmed servers) and young kids much younger than 10 serving themselves and picking their noses and handling serving spoons or hacking, sneezing or coughing while up there... Not an exaggeration.

AS for running out of food and the food being mediocre... During peak hours (when I was there) they did run out and took some time to refill, at that late of an hour I doubt it will be a problem. AS for the food being mediocre... If you actually get mediocre food at Chef Mickey I would call yourself extremely lucky. I am willing to admit I am not a big fan of buffets, but this place makes Golden Corral seem like a 5 star restaurant. Not a fan of CM... But hey, you may go there and actually love the place. I've tried places that didn't get favorable reviews and I loved it and I've tried places that are hyped and very popular only to find I didn't care for it at all.

I also don't know if you have young children or not, but after a long day at the parks it may be tough on younger kids to eat this late; even with Mickey, Minnie and friends.

How about Spirit of Aloha?
I know it's different than Chef Mickey's, we are staying at Poly. Is the any good? Good decent? It's a lot of $$.
It's myself, DH-49, DS-13.

personally, after a long day in the park the last thing I want is a late dinner. YMMV of course :)

We weren't quite that late for my grandson's 4th birthday party in June (8:15 ADR), but our experience was nothing but positive. You needn't worry about them running out of food, as they seemed to keep bringing it out even towards 9:00. We also had the buffet at Crystal Palace that week, which we all seemed to enjoy even more than Chef Mickey's. That's not a knock on Chef Mickeys, the Crystal Palace buffet was truly outstanding.
