I'm traveling to Disney with my sister in early September. She has some mobility issues, but not enough that we'll have a wheelchair sent to our hotel room (French Quarter). Because the hassle of getting it into and out of a bus/car would be unnecessary, we'll just rent it whenever we arrive at the parks.

That said, I've made 9:15 AM reservations for us at the Crystal Palace. She tends to eat very large breakfasts, so I thought that'd be perfect. The trouble is that I don't know if we'll make it there on time, given that we have to rent a wheelchair before we go (I don't want to wait until the afternoon when she's more likely to have trouble walking but we're more likely to be on the other side of the park). Will they let us in a little early because we have breakfast reservations? It's been so long since I've done breakfast in the parks.

If she doesn't need it all the time, why not just get the wheelchair after your breakfast. CP is only at the end of MSUSA so you are not that far into the park yet. Not to mention that CP is kind of tight inside and the wheelchair might end up being more of a hassle then anything at that time.

Good point! I literally woke up an hour ago thinking, "We have to get breakfast ADR at Crystal Palace" and have been mulling it over ever since. I haven't even turned on the light in my room yet.

At MK, a wheelchair and stroller rental location is in the waiting area before the turnstiles that allow you to enter the park. Arrive whenever you need to, rent the wheelchair and go to the area at the entrance for people with ADRs that need early entry to the park. You should have no problem.

I've never used a wheelchair before, and I can't remember if I've seen them, but can we park them outside with the strollers? If not I think we'll go ahead and get them after breakfast.
