9/13 & 9/16 why is IOA closing at 6?

Does anyone know? I plan on HHN on 9/13, but 9/16 is a Monday and Universal is open until 7:00. Islands closing early doesn’t make sense.

Someone probably bought out the park. Probably a big convention group.

IoA is also closing at 6 pm on Wednesday Sept 18. Seems like a bad week for park goers if you are not doing HHN.

Years ago, they kicked everyone out of the park at 6 so Rosie ODonnell didn’t have to mingle with the masses even though we paid full price for our tix. Wasn’t a happy camper

Yeah this is not that usual, its just worse during HHN since you don't have another option.
I think there are tech conferences that buy it out every year in Sept and Oct.
I recall a few years where they even bought out HHN so I missed out on a night of HHN with my ROF pass.

But 9/16 is Monday so there’s no HHN. Universal is open until 7:00. IOA closing at 6:00 is odd, City Walk will be busy…off to make reservations

I can confirm 9/16 is a park buyout as I will be there for it. I was bummed when I learned it overlaps HHN because our other days will be shorter/more crowded (we don't care for scares)
