9/11 Magic - Canaveral?

I was just watching the 11 pm Orlando news, and they said that the "Disney ship leaving on Saturday will be leaving from Port Canaveral."

I'm not sure how accurate this is, but just wanted to give those of you on the Magic a heads up.

That's what Disney's saying. But that will require quite an effort by the Army Corps of Engineers to dredge 20 feet of sand out of the port opening (which they haven't started doing yet.) I'm putting even money that it will be Port Everglades at least for Saturday.

Marcy - Dave is right again - the port here was praying that the ships could sail again from here, but not even the shrimps boats, the gambling boat - NOTHING can get pass the entry to the port due to the sand. Lot of monies have been lost by the port plus lot more workers out of work - it has hit the economy hard here.
