9/11/01 on MSNBC

MSNBC is replaying the Today Show from 9/11/01-it's so compelling to watch remembering when we were all tying to figure out exactly what was going on.

Just a heads up in case anyine wants to watch it.

I am watching this too. I haven't watched anything 9-11 related in a long time. Right now 5 years ago I was getting in my car leaving work and the south tower is about to fall. I remember it being there one second, and then when I turned teh corner it was gone.

Have they said anything about replaying this later? I would watch this when I get home from work tonight. I just have such a heavy heart today, just keep thinking almost every minute about all the events that occured that day.

It was synced to the time it actually happened 5 years ago so it is over. I was unable to view the actual coverage when it happened. I found the coverage to be extremely chaotic and was surprised at all the misinformation/speculation that was being reported. Glad I missed it when it happened.

I guess that's because it was so chaotic... I'll never forget my mother in law calling me (I was home alone with 3 babies watching Sesame Street) and she practically insisted my husband (her son) worked in the trade center. I told her repeatedly that he worked in midtown, TImes Square- and she just kept saying, "then why can't I reach him?!" obviosly, we now know its because all the cell antenna towers were on top of tower 1....but she even had me doubting myself. I knew he had to go the trade center sometimes for meetings... and she was freaking me out! Iswear, I will never forgive her for calling me constantly that day while I was anxiously waiting for him to call......
