Will we be allowed in the MK a little bit early? Otherwise we are going to get caught up in the big open crowds. Not a good idea for our DD with autism.....

marked entrance for people with early ADRs. If you don't see it ask a CM which one. With a 9:05 ADR I'd try to get through the gates no later than 8:35. Disney advises you to be 10-15 minutes early. Use this to your advantage.

Yes you will be allowed in early. Just look for the turnstile with the sign for breakfast. Try to get there pretty early before the 9:00 opening crowd gets there. They start letting people in before 8:00 who have breakfast ADRs.

Fabulous! I knew they let people in with early ADR's but I thought it was only 5 minutes early and park opening is at 9am. So this is good news for us! Thanks!

Yes. We did an 8:05 last year and was allowed in early. It's awsome walking around the castle with only the early diners in the park.

Since your ADR is after park opening, they more than likely will not let you in before the park opens. Rope drop is usually 10-15 min before 9, so you'll be in a little early from that anyway.

Oh no. :sad2: This will not work for us. We try to avoid park opening/closing crowds with DD. I have already tried to change our ADR time with no luck. It is 9:05 or not at all. I might try explaining our circumstances to a CM at the entrance.

Every time that we have gone and had ADR inside the parks we had no problems getting in early. We have never been asked for our reservation time at the front gate. They usually just let us through and when we get to the Crystal Palace then they ask for our name and dining time. This was the case for our 06 and 07 vacation during June. I also recommend getting there at least 45 - 30 minutes early as well. Better to be early!

I would definitely get there very early and mention it to them. It will be quite crowded at the gates by 8:30, so i'd be there even earlier than that to talk with them.

::yes:: This was our experience too. We had an ADR after park opening (like 9:05 or 9:10) and they would not let us in early. If you wish to be on the safe side, I'd call back and try to get something right before park opening, like 8:45 or 8:50, that way you can for sure miss the crowds.

"If you have a special needs child with a disorder that falls under the autistic spectrum or is hypersensitive, you can get a note from their doctor and take it to guest services. They will give you a special assistance card. When you get to an attraction, show it to the CM working there. It doesn't mean that you don't have to wait in line, but they will try to take you into a quieter area for your wait. You can get a sample note from www.allearsnet.com."

I copied this from a "secrets" thread on another part of the board. Thought it might be helpful.
