8am arrival TSL RD for 9am opening?

Will getting there 1 hr ahead of time be good enough to be at the front of the SDD pack or do we need to plan earlier?

Personally I would plan to be there around 70 minutes ahead of time

Just a follow-up. Got here at 8:15 (way later than our target 8am arrival). They let us in just before 8:40 and we were towards the front of the pack. We were of SDD around 9:05 and done with Aliens around 9:15. Waiting standby for TSMM right now. Of course YMMV.

It may depend on how crowed DHS is that day. We went on a Saturday (Touring Plans crowd level was 8 that day), got there an hour early and there was already a large line ahead of us waiting to enter. By the time we got into Toy Story Land, the standby line for SDD was 50 minutes. We went to TSM instead and got on right away.
