Hello everyone,

We are complete Universal Newbies here...

We will be staying offsite (inlaws time-share). This will not be until next Spring... We are planning now so that we could get our accommodations confirmed. (not good to wait with RCI)

Should we consider purchasing our tickets now, to get 7 days unlimited for $89.00??? We will plan on (at least) one full day at both parks.

Is this something that could disappear before next Spring?

We are SOOOO looking forward to our first trip to Universial/IOA!

Thanks for any of your thoughts!

I think that anyone who is considering going should jump on this deal. As the opening of Harry Potter and the new Rockit coaster approaches, I would imagine that ticket prices will go up.

This is a great deal.

seem to recall RCI used to sell a pretty good priced tix that had to be picked up @ site in Orlando...might want to check it out jik it's a better deal

My local AAA is still contracted to sell the $79.99 ticket price through August 15th (aka - end of summer)...might want to check locally too...

Good advice! I checked online and I can order through AAA for that price!

DAY 2 PARK UNLIMITED ADMISSION
This is an advance purchase offer and is not available at the front gate.
Valid for 7 consecutive calendar days. Not valid to Universal Cineplex 20 and AMC Theatre
$79.99 ADULT $124.56 ADULT (GATE)

$79.99 CHILD $124.56 CHILD (GATE)

Thanks!!!

I think that my MIL has AAA, and if we can order online, that would save us ten bucks a head... Everything helps!

I'll have my husband talk to her when he gets home.

I tried looking at the AAA link, but you can't access the info until you put in a AAA number.

As others have posted elsewhere, right now you can get 3 parks for the $89.99/7 days, they are tossing in Wet and Wild Water Park. I was able to get it to come up under Internet Explorer, but not while still in AOL. I bought and will hold them until 2010 trip.

Where does it say they are throwing in Wet & Wild? I only found something like it if you booked as a package with at least 3 nights accommodations...

No, I did not book a package at all, as I want to use the passes in 2010.

I could not get it to pop up until I got out of AOL, and went to the webpage for Universal just thru Explorer. It says:

2-PARK UNLIMITED ADMISSION, PLUS WET 'N WILD WATER PARK

FREE admission to select live entertainment venues* at Universal’s CityWalk entertainment complex.

Ticket expires six (6) days after first day of use

i'm wondering if the OP bought the promo 7 day 2 park tickets yet....

you no longer see the promo on top of the pages anymore for them.

could be a sign .......................:confused3

Hey, it's the OP here..

We ordered thru our AAA for $80.00. :thumbsup2
(MIL is still a AAA member)

Did they already remove the Promo from the Universal web site!!!!!

I know that some people were seeing the offer including the waterpark, and others were getting only the two parks, for the $89.00.

I read a discussion somewhere that this might be because of some 'demographics', and that not all areas were getting the waterpark included. This was worked around by using a different server somehow, so that your IEP address was not there???? too technical for me!!!

Pat McDuck seems to have managed this!

I just went to Universal's web site (thru Yahoo/Internet Explorer) and it still shows the unlimited+wet-n-wild for $89.00. :thumbsup2

Click where it says, unlimited for less than Disney.

I found this deal yesterday but I can not find it today. Can you still find it? I have tried Internet explorer but it doesnt show it anymore? I am afraid I missed it....

I was just on their site. It's still there. This makes US and IOA very luring. I am worried about holding on to them until 2010 though. If I could find in writing from Universal that they don't expire I would feel better.

Never mind. I cleared my temp files and cookies again and did get it to come up with the Wet and Wild tickets. Even better, I was also able to get the $150 coupon book since I paid with my American Express. I went ahead and ordered them since I am thinking this deal will not be around for too long. thanks!!

the tickets do not have an expiration date on them.

trust me.

i would not steer you wrong.
i know what i know and that's all i can say.

the advertising is no longer on top of the forum threads.
you will still see the promo on the website.
you do not have to have a package booked to get the free w & w tickets.
some poster mentioned that but this is a different promo for the 7 day 2 park tix w/wet and wild thrown in.

there are many UO employees that read the threads.
don't you think they would have chimed in and given a heads up if the tickets would not be valid in 2009?

would someone post a link for the tix w/ wet & wild? Thanks!

Just saw the unlimited 7 day pass advance purchase on the Universal Site 7 Days Univ/IOA/Wet and Wild for $89.99..after tax and fees I believe it is $97.00 2 day advance ticket!

Nice offer....Would imagine Wet and Wild will be busy though this summer!

Maybe take some crowds away from BB/TL or Aquatica for that matter!

Enjoy!:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes
