Errr... uhhh... I do know they ask for the billing address, so I really don't know how that would work out. Good luck though. ;) FYI: You know you have to pay rack rate to get free dining - you can't get free dining with FL res. rate.

WHAT?!?!?!?! Ugh! Well that sucks major donkey balls. :headache: :guilty:

That always get you don't they?

Ok Kat, guess I'll just make the ressie and we'll just see which is the more economical way to go. Sometimes the FL resident rates don't apply to weekends and if it does it's usually not much of a difference from rack rate. So if free dining is offered we'd probably be better off saving food money rather than slightly lower room rate. We'll see when it happens I guess.

V & T I know why you guys don't like the free dining, not offended :grouphug:. I'm just kinda excited of actually being able to get it, although who knows if it will be released this year.

I'm going to call WDW and have them note our ressie that I'm coming in early and will be traveling with little ones and disgruntled seniors and I'll be needing a room a little early. Hehehe :rolleyes1
Oh yeah - they'll REALLY be looking forward to your arrival now! :rotfl:

Exactly what she said. ::yes:: It's either/or - get teh FL rate = no Free Dining, Free DInigng = no room discount. Really look at what you think your food expenses might be - the FL rate and food OOP might be a way better deal, especially if you have a DDE. FL rates are often the lowest of the year at that time.

Last year, I saved just under $100 a night off rack-rate at the Poly using an AP rate. The FL rate is generally $5-10 mor than the AP rate. :thumbsup2

Hey just cruisin by. Have to catch up. Have been playing hookie for a few and feel like I am lost I am sooooo far behind.

So has anyone been doing anymore planning? I am trying to decide when to start a countdown calander for the trip. I am thinking 60 days out, but am not sure.

We will chatting some about the trip SUnday becasue the family is comingover for Easter, which means ANdrew will be here. Jimmy has declared that Andrew will sit next to him on the plane. :goodvibes

I still trying to decide whether I should take Jimmy to se Fantasmic or not:confused3

BTW:

150 days:woohoo: :woohoo:

Janet we thought Fantasmic was actually quite scary, lots of fighting scenes etc we're not going to see it this time!!!!!

That is my concern. I think I am going to try and find a video of it on You Tube or something ans see if he likes it or not. If he doesn't Jim can take him back to the hotel and I will take Andrew to see it or something

Awww, we love Fantasmic but I can see how it could be scary for kids.

I have been thinking about arriving a day earlier for this trip. If we fly down on Tuesday instead of Wednesday we can take a direct and cheaper flight through JetBlue. The same flight is available on the Wednesday but it does not get into Orlando until 7pm so I figure why not just fly down a day early and take advantage of the direct flight. It would add almost a full day of park touring into the schedule.

That nonstop flight on JetBlue from Syracuse is great!!!! We have done that before and will do it again!

That is what I figured and it sure beats a 8 hour travel time that connecting flight bring about and the worries about luggage getting lost when switching planes is pretty much non-existent as well.

I just wish my tax return would come in already so I could be 100% sure that this trip is a go ahead. I can't book plane tickets until I am sure and I am just itching to book them before the prices potentially go up.

Definitely sounds like a great idea Lessa :thumbsup2

Does anybody else think it is ridiculous that Disney charges a room surcharge for any extra adults over two in a room? I mean the room is booked why does it matter if there are two or four adults in the room, it doesn't cost Disney anything extra. Sorry for the rant I just find it annoying that I have to add an extra $20 a night onto our room rate because there will now be four of us instead of two.

I haven't done anymore planning, but I've been shopping. :stir: I found ALL Mighty at Target today, in the little travel size - got 4 new toothbrush sets, since we're flying the red eye, I was a toothbrush set for all of us in our carry-on. I got Maddie and Evan some new vacation clothes at Kohl's. Evan won't wear anything that's not Disney related or Tony Hawk. Thank GOD Tony Hawk wear was on sale! :sad2:
I'll be starting a count down calendar at 100 days, Janet.:thumbsup2

Show it to him on Youtube. It's there, I showed it to the kids last year to see how it differs from ours. DLR is better, IMO - so we'll pass on it. When they saw it here, they weren't afraid at all.

:scared1: I better get on that treadmill!!!!

So is that a Fuzzy Flight Theory? :lmao:

ACK!!! Bite your tongue missy! This is the first time we're doing a non-direct flight. I'm sooooo afraid of lost luggage!! :scared:

I think that is what I am going to do. I have enough Mickey Mouse Paint Chips from Disney to start today, but I think that would be pushing it:rolleyes1

You don't have a straight through flight?

Nope, Airtrain doesn't fly direct from LAX to MCO. We have 75 minute layover in Atlanta. It saved me about $160 pp going this route. I hope the savings doesn't come back to bite me in the rear, IYKWIM. ;)
