You go to the electronic ticketing kiosk. It will ask for your confimation number, type it in and then swipe your credit card (for identification purposes only--you won't be charged again). Your tickets will then print out. If you have any problems just go to guest services and they will process it for you.

You don't need an email, just your confirmation number and the cc you purchased it with.

Quite a while back in 2006 when some $75 tickets popped up for a very brief time (I jumped on those like fleas on a dog) there was a lengthy discussion about whether unused tickets would expire at the end of the year. But we used ours in February 2007 no problem.

I was wondering this as well, we don't travel until September of this year, but i were to book these tickets tomrrow (i'm scared if i wait the offer will run out!, would they still be ok to use in Sept?

Yes, they will be fine to use this September.

I purchased my tickets the other day at my local AAA office. I was not charged sales tax and the person said there was no limited time to when we could begin to use them. Someone mentioned that the tickets were large and difficult to hold onto. I'm not sure if it is the same but last year Sea World did the same type of offer. As you were leaving the first day of use you stopped by the guest relations office and they took the paper tickets and gave you a plastic credit card type of ticket with your picture on it to use for the next 6 consecutive days.

Only the print at home tickets are large. Universal doesn't do a plastic card anymore except for Premier Annual Passes.

You're not dead wrong. Your experience is very helpful. As far as these $85 tickets, I have not read anywhere on the Universal site that they expire.

Thanks for that, now another question, since some people hve mentions that they are large could could be ruined by Day Seven, is it possible to Laminate the tickets, or do something to them to make them last longer?

No, they have to scan them, so you don't want to laminate them. Ours lasted the 7 days no problem. They aren't very large; about the same as a credit card.

Does Universal do a finger scan or anything like Disney? We're only going to be at Universal for 2 days, but bought these 7-day tickets because it was the best deal. Could we give them to someone else to use for the remainder of the week? Or will the tickets be linked to us somehow, preventing anyone else from using them?

Universal does biometrics also. Tickets are non-transferable.

Yes, you can upgrade any tickets to APs except complimentary tickets and tickets that include parks other than IOA and Universal such as Flex tickets.

We got the Costco tickets because they were cheaper and last for 3 months! So if you have a Costco membership check their website. The tickets are $84.99 and they mail them to you.

We purchased ours this morning from Universal. My only reasonsing of doing that besides Costco was the Electronic Ticket option. Our mail person is about as reliable as a 5 year old so I didn't want to risk it. The timeframe isn't an issue because we know we wouldn't be going back within a 3 month period. Good info to know though.

Does the paper ticket you print off your computer get put into a turnstyle machine? How well will this hold up for a ticket?

I'm thinking in a couple years my family would be ready for a Universal trip and I don't see the prices getting any lower. Any thoughts? Oh and another thing if I do purchase these tickets and we want to stay on site can we still get the FOTL access or is it a package deal where you have to buy tickets too? TIA

There is no expiry printed on the tickets or on the website. You can always call just to double check.

No matter what, if you stay onsite you will get FOTL access. It is linked with your room key, not your tickets.

I think that's what I need to do call. It looks like the only delivery option is self print and I'm thinking I don't want to print it and take it there two years later and not have it give me a ticket. So either way I'd need to call to place the order so maybe they'd mail me the tickets. Another thing I was thinking just getting all adult tickets would it matter if a child used an adult ticket? Just not sure if my son would be 10 before we got there but don't want to get the kids and then have him be an adult, kwim?
