So I purchased these online today. I understand that I need to go to the machines at the front of the park and print them out with the credit card I used to purchase them with but is it a regular ticket that prints out (like the ones you get from Ticketmania or Undercover Tourist), or is it just a paper voucher?

They are like regular tickets not a paper voucher. I just got back from my 1st trip to Universal about a week ago. I was there 11/3-11/11. It was great, the weather was awesome, and lines were less than 20 minute wait for me! The tickets after your trip there make a nice reminder of your visit. Hope you have fun there like I did because I loved it and can't wait to go back! Have a nice trip! :)

I ordered tickets for my grandson on line to be used on our visit in June. I understand that you go to the terminals in front of the parks I just hope since I ordered them in November of 2006 and won t pick them up till June of 2007 there is no mix up.The rest of us will have tickets that came with the room package.

I recently ordered my tickets for the end of June and was worried about the same thing. I plan to bring my confirmation receipt with me just in case.

When you take the barcode to the machine at the parks in order to exchange the paper copy for real tickets, you are likely to need the credit card that you used to purchase them on-line. I think you have to scan the paper copy and the credit card to "verify" that you are one and the same.

Has anyone booked the vacation pkg. on the Universal website?
I am thinking of going that route - staying at the Fairfield Inn/Suites and getting 3 early bird passes for family members. Wondering if this method is safe?

We went a few years ago and I ordered ours online. I ordered them in October and they were waiting for us when we got there in March. You will need the credit card that you used in order to get them. It was sooo easy I would definitely do it that way again.

Have fun !!!

Pocohontas2004: could you explain to me what you mean by the barcode? I just ordered my tickets online for next July and the confirmation e-mail said I just needed to bring the cc I paid with and my confirmation #. Is there something I am missing? :confused3

Aren't these also available at any AAA office? And, if so, one wouldn't need to go through all this trouble; correct?

INDY'S GIRL: No, I don't think you are missing anything. I just remember that we had to have our print out AND the same credit card. We had to scan the credit card when we exchanged the voucher. There are self-serve kiosks you can use, as long as you have that info with you. You should be fine.

I thought I read that somewhere but when I checked with my local AAA office yesterday, I was told they did not have those type of tix available. So I purchased online direct from Universal's website.

I ordered the tix through my TA when we reserved HRH for this February. The park tickets were sent to me in the mail. I did check them, and they say exactly what they should. I was expecting to have to pick them up at the park kiosk.

When we bought our tickets last March it said on the website that they expired 12/06 but there isn't actually an expiration date on my tickets :confused3 . We plan to use them this month just in case, though.

my question too... If i buy them now but don't use them until July will they still be vaild?

The lady that helped me book assued me that the tickets would be valid any time I go as long as they weren t activated. I hope she knows what she is talking about because I bought mine and we don t go til June of 07

I bought tickets to use for the last week of December yesterday!! I did speak to Universal before hand though and they clearly told me that the tickets did not expire, "You can use them 3 years from now, if you wanted to" was there exact quote.

Its a great deal and the deal itself can expire at any time, so unless you are a FL resident (there may be similar or better deals next year), I say go ahead and get them.
