80's party goody bag ideas

Definately the jelly bracelets and anything neon. I used to have a dozen or so pairs of the black and neon wayfarer type glasses. How about the hats from DEVO. Those always cracked me up. Can't think of anything else now.
LOL. Now I feel like listening to Duran Duran. Oh to be young again!

Ok ok....I'll date myself. The following was suggested and definitely in:

Jelly braclets
big hair bows
Huge hoop earrings or very long dangle earrings
Anything NEON
Anything lacey thanks to Madonna (lacey socks, lacey gloves, lacey hair bows)
Legwarmers
gloves without fingers
black eyeliner.....everyone was wearing it....guys and girls
Aquanet to go with the big hair
The Risky Business sunglasses LOL
Ear cuffs (long before people starting piercing higher on the ear)
The snap bracelets didn't really start til the 90s
All the metal bangle bracelets....we used to see how far we could get them to the elbow
ankle socks took off during this time too....esp. the ones that cuffed down
Cassettes
Rubiks Cube

I'll have to think of more......if you have a Claire's near you, go check them out. The last time I was in there I felt like I walked back into the 80s.

I was in HS and college for the 80s, so I think of them as normal. In fact, WHATS SO FUNNY ABOUT THE 8os, nuthin'. Ok,ok, Molly Ringwald was 80s. Ok, legwarmers and ripped sweatshirts were funny. ok, maybe banana clips were a little odd. ok, maybe Cyndi Lauper was weird. OK, Maybe , just maybe I'm wrong.

Oh yeah!!! I remember I had neon pink shoelaces double laced with white ones. I also remember wearing those with my stonewashed jeans with the rips in the knees!!

Gosh - that site cracked me up! I'm sure that we had over 1/2 of those sweaters... I tended to wear my husband's sweaters with "leggings" back then... laugh....

I know this thread is really old but I am thinking of having my 30th birthday party at a roller skating rink with party afterwards and these ideas are great. Any additional suggestions for items to be put in a goody bag would be appreciated!

Lip balm, the kind in the sliding lid tin.

I remember they came out with lipstick that was "mood" shaded too.

Neon or lace anklet socks.
