Ive used gift certificates on here a few times with no problems. Check the restrictions with EACH gift certificate as some are only good on certain days of the week and most require a minimum purchase. Its a great way to try out new restaurants. DH and I just had a date night last week and used on for a restaurant we had always wanted to try.

I just bought several for Orlando for our trip and some for local restaurants and they all say they expire 1 year from date of purchase so I would assume they are all the same.

I did get one for the arabian knights dinner show already. There seems to be alot of choices...but I'd hate to even spend a buck on a lousy one.

I am an Orlando local, and I purchase a coupon each month and have a BIG lunch here.
Very authentic Mexican, great food & service.
Easy to get to from Disney, just north of The Greenway on SOBT.
If you ever drove the Greenway from the airport to WDW, it's the exit where you pass the Super Target, Cracker Barrel, and Home Depot.

One warning about Restaurant.com
MOST of the restaurants are in downtown Orlando, Winter Park, and even further.
Be careful on the location, traveling up I-4 during dinner rush hour can take a LONG time.

Finally, I have never had a problem with any coupon, aside some restrictions clearly specified on said coupon.

I've used these before. Once I did have a place that would not accept the certificate but I emailed restaurant.com and they gave me a credit for the amount I paid. With the new certificate I didn't get as good of a deal but I didn't lose money either.

I just noticed that the restaurant I had the problem with is back on the list.

It is NOT a scam. Restaurants participate in order to get new customers, they're hoping you come back again and again.

We have used Restaurant.com for over 3 years now and have never had a problem. On time a restaurant withdrew their participation and restaurant.com gave me credit back on my purchase as I had not yet used my certificate.

No scam... every month there are a certain number of certificates for each restaurant available. At the end of every month they sell the remaining $25 ones for $2. There is a new code every month, I typically get them from Upromise or Borders Rewards Perks e-mails.

DH and I just used our first one this month. Went fine, got to try a new restaurant and had a great dinner!

Just always read the conditions listed for each restaurant. There is one I really want to try but it is only good Sun-Thurs, min $50 on entrees.
