Our first trip with baby was fantastic! :cutie: She got a little fussy at nap times but for the most part, she went to sleep on her own when she was tired. It was definitely worth taking our own stroller, but we noticed everyone with maclarens and wished we had one!! it was a major pain to fold and carry our evenflow stroller.
She absolutely loved to go on rides and she wasn't scared of the characters.
It really was a great trip. So many people stopped us and told us that we were so lucky to have such a well behaved baby! I already knew I was, but it was nice to hear it from other people!!:cheer2:

How was POR with your munchkin? We were thinking about staying there our LO will be 10 months old when we go. We also were thinking about a maclaren stroller before we left. We are going to drive down from MA so that we have a car and can bring whatever we need. Any suggestions?

We didn't have a sling, but it might have been nice-especially when she was sleeping. My back hurt quite a bit the first day or so but she actually got used to sitting in the stroller and mom and dad figured out when she woudl need held and planned our days accordingly.
the rides we went on were just about everything in fantasyland, the comedy club in tomorrow land and hmm, that might be it. We didn't do a lot in the form of rides this time. She LOVED small world and Dumbo was pretty cool too. We were going to do TTA because a baby care center worker said babies tend to like it, but it was shut down when we go there.

POR was good. She loved walking along and looking at the ducks/water/etc. The room was really nice. She loved the tile in the bathroom. I'm typically worried about putting her on dirty floors, but I gave up on this trip. She was all over that room. One HUGE IMPORTANT SUGGESTION FOR POR: They don't have elevators in the Bayou. If you get put in the Bayou, make sure you get the first floor. We were on the second and we had to carry that stroller up and down thestairs every time. It was pretty annoying!

Get a Maclaren or a Peg Perego. We were quite jealous of those with one while we were there. Our evenflo travel system stroller was terrible to collapse down for the bus rides and it took up a ton of room. Not to mention it is so heavy. We wanted a mac, but ended up buying a peg perego today because it has a tray and lays down completely. Due to those nice little features, we are actually going to use it for everyday purposes instead of the bulky evenflo. It folds up nicely and is very light weight.

oh no, did you try it out with her in it? I only say that because we had the peg aria and it just was awful after my girls gaines some weight. The bag also dragged on the floor if you put anything remotely heavy in it and now ther is a huge hole. We also loved the feature of the tray, but did you try and put a cup in it??? It doesn't fit. Also, after a while, try getting that seat down. I literally had my whole body on the ground and I still could never get it down enough.

Anyway, we now have a maclaren and it is awesome.....so much easier to steer once they get heavier...Sorry, if others love it, that was just my experience with it.

PS, Im gald you had such a great time!!

soontobewed07----we are originally from MA--HEY SOX!! You will love that you ahve your car with you. You dont have to worry about getting on and off buses. You can get right on the monorail with the stroller and right to your car....have fun

Hi there!

I am coming to Disney in Feb with my baby (will be 10 months by then) and my 7 year old. What rides did you take your baby on?

Thanks!
Kelli

Just bumping up because I also would like to know what rides you could take both your older and babies on? :goodvibes

We rode pretty much everything in fantasyland. You can ride anything without a height restriction-which is a lot! You'd be suprised at how many things you can ride.

Regarding hte Peg Perego, we did try her in it and she loved it! We tried out everything at the mall the next day and didn't have any problems with a big heavy bag being in the bottom. we didn't really get the tray for holding a cup and the cups we have actually fit anyway. I can't understand how laying it down would be a problem. It is put down using a tie. That's one of the things I actually didn't like about the Maclaren. I had trouble putting hte back down every time I tried it. Hmm, I guess everyone has different ideas about what is perfect. Or, I suppose it is possible that they fixed all those things that were wrong with it.

we took out 12 week old son on living with the land, his very first WDW ride, Spaceship earth (they were having a sneak preview!!!!), the ride in Mexico, Journey into imagination, universe of energy, nemo, potc, HM, the full trip on the train in MK...we didn't spend much time in MK, but we would have done more...we'll be back in a month for more!!!!
