8 kids!!! I think I'm still in shock!

I can't believe I actually have 8 kids living in my home calling me mom! Dh and I already had 4 adopted kids and have been thinking about adopting more. We were thinking 1 or 2. Well, 2 weeks ago a dear friend of mine who is a foster mom called me and told me I needed to come visit and meet my new family. She had 2 precious little kids placed in respite with her while they looked for a permanent home for them and their 2 siblings. We went over and fell in love. A week and a half later, they moved in!

I keep looking at them and can't believe I have 8 kids!!!! They are 10, 8, 7, 6, 6, 5, 4, & 4. The 4's are twins. It has been such an adventure already, but not near as bad as I thought it might be.

We have a trip to WDW planned for Sept and are just waiting for the judge's approval for them to go (it is a foster adopt placement). We added them to our ressies and even increased all or our ADR's without a problem. I just hope the judge gives us the okay!

I wish I could post a pic because they are such adorable children, but I can't. I just still can't believe how much our lives can change in 2 short weeks!

Holy crap! Uh, I mean, congrats! We've been looking into the foster-to-adopt system, possibly siblings, and I can't believe that my family could go from three to five in minutes - much less 6 to 10 people!!
