$8 fares on Spirit

Hi, wondering if anyone got the $8 from Detroit to Orlando offered on Spirit airlines yesterday. It is sold out now, but there are still some $44 each way seats left in September.

I bought tickets months ago for our trip Aug.26-Sept.1 for just under $200 round trip on Spirit from Detroit and I keep checking to see if I could've got a better deal if I'd waited. Just after I bought the tickets the price skyrocketed to $400 round trip. Even now, the flight to Orlando has gone down to $44, but the return flight (Friday night of the long weekend) was still over $200 the last time I checked. I should really stop checking, but I can't help myself!! Last year we got a fantastic deal with NWA because they were in negotiations with the mechanics, but I found them much higher this year when I was checking.
