8 Day Park Hopper - Scheduling FP+ and ADR

We will be going to WDW in August 2015 for 9 nights and have an 8 day park hopper.

in past trips, we have not purchesed the hopper and scheduled a park for each day of our trip and therefore could make our fastpass selections and ADRs based on which park we would be visiting on a given day.

My question: what is the best way to go about planning for an 8 day park hopper while scheduling our FP and ADRs?

My thoughts are that it makes sense to come up with an itinerary to go to the parks on days that there are no extra magic hours during the day and schedule FP and ADRs based on this schedule. Then hop to the parks that offer evening extra magic hours?

You could do that or you could also plan on starting at the morning EMH park at rope drop and doing as many of the headliners as possible before the crowds build. Then Park hop to your second park and plan your FP+ and ADR's near that second park.
