I have the opposite problem - I tend to buy DS (age 9) too many gifts. He's getting a Gameboy Advance Game, a Yo-Stick, a Knex motorcycle kit (that I got really cheap!), Yu-gi-Oh cards (I picked up a Master set in August really cheap), DH picked him up a tabletop pool table at Tuesday's Morning, some books, a game (Clue Mysteries), B'Daman, and stocking stuffers so far are Star War figurines, a pez dispenser, some $1 toys from Target (mini bowling set, wooden puzzle, mickey cards).
One of my son's favorite presents last year was a Sony portable CD player. I may pick up a CD is I see one that I think he'll like. I'll probably also get him a new soccer shirt. He really likes the Nike and Adidas soccer shirts. Geez. I've got to stop buying!
Now if I can only figure out what to get my DH. It's tough to buy for someone that buys what he needs when he needs it.
