8 and 10 yr old present ideas-Please

I know this may sound strange but I don't know what to get my DS8 and Ds10 for Christmas.My three older kids made out their lists and they each only asked for a video game(already bought $20 each) and a football($10 each).
I am finished with my DDs-for the DD6 -American Girl doll,outfit for doll,scooter,cd,dvd,Star Station.DD1-Dora doll,Jo Jo doll,grocery cart,Dora ball,Fisher Price farm and Noah's Ark.Not alot but definitely need ideas for the boys.

So,if you have boys this age-what are they wanting???

My oldest are 7 and 9 and are really into Bionicles. I'm happy with that because they're fairly cheap. I don't know what else, though

How about a cd player and a cd.
You can get them fairly cheap and with the holiday sales, you can get a better deal.

If they are into paper airplanes they have books on those. Coloring books, sticker books -activity books on many subjects like space ,dinos ,different animals ect.. just type in the search what they are into and see what comes up.

Hey, as a mother of four kids, yes, I too at times just don't know what to get my DS9 year too!!


I'm thinking about a skateboard for my son. A model airplane, model dinosaur. I've already got him a Nitendo DS, mario game.

I'm thinking about the $34 Star Wars lightsaber that you put together.

So far that's it.

A Star Station is this thing that you plug into the tv and they can see themselves on tv.It plays music and they sing and dance while they see themseves on tv.Someone else may better describe it.
My boys already have personal cd players that they got two years ago and still work.We are going to get them each a new CD for their stocking.And I got DS10 the new Star Wars movie and DS8 the Herbie movie.I think I will get him the Harry Potter books that he hasn't read.He is on # 5.I need to look for the Light Sabers that ypu put together.
MamaLema,I thought about Bionicles for my DS8 but I don't think he would do it.He has no patience.My DS8 did ask for a Doodle Monster but my mom bought it for him.
Girls are sooo easy!!

My boys are 10 & 11. Or course they want lots of video games - Nintendogs is on both lists.
My 10 yr old wants an Erector Set or Magnetix (sp?), flywheels. 11yr old wants a drum set. Oh & both would love Robosabien V2 - the $250 version. I don't buy $250 toys & they know they won't be getting them.
I too am pretty much at a loss for non-electronic ideas

DS8 I bought him a skateboard ramp, a proffesional magic kit, some spy stuff, heely's skate shoes, GBA games and I am going to buy him a digital drumset that he wants. DS13 a bunch of skateboarding clothes and a new basketball and an i-pod nano.
