8 am breakfast on regular park opening day

or 10:30 am ADR on AM EMH day??

I am debating this for MK and AK days. Should we do AM EMH and then stop for breakfast at CP or Tusker House at 10:30 or do an 8 am ADR on a regular park day.

We've done 8 am ADR at MK before (for BBB though) and did the whole pre park opening which was great. We've never done AM EMH.

I was on the fence, as well. I decided to do an 8:05 at Crystal Palace and a 10:30 at Tusker House. So, since I couldn't decide, I just went with both ideas!!!!!

Me too. I would take the 8am reservation.

I think either plan works. The later reservation probably works best if you plan on using hoppers to leave the EMH park after "brunch"; the 8:00 ADR is likely the best option if you're staying in the same park for the whole day.

I vote this way too. For our September trip we have 3 pre-opening breakfasts....Akershus at 8:15am, Crystal Palace at 8:05am, and Tusker House at 8:00am. This is our favorite time to eat breakfast, plus you get really awesome pictures before the crowds set in.

In January we did all of our character breakfasts pre opening on regular park days. We loved it, we were done in time to beat the crowds to the most popular rides everytime. We will definately plan the same next year

We do the late breakfasts; however, that is because I am not a morning person. We get up so early do get dds (8,5) to school, so when it's our vacation, we just want to sleep in. Granted, sleeping in for my 8 year old is 7:30 AM. So, we sleep, get to park for rope drop, do some morning rides, grab the fast pass, and then hit breakfast at 10:30 AM or so. It gives us a nice morning break, good food, character time, and then back to the park.

I'm pretty positive we are going to do AK AM EMH with a 10:30 ADR at TH.

Epcot AM EMH is the day we are going to do MNSSHP so I don't think that's a good idea. We will do the pirate cruise that morning instead.

MK AM EMH day we are debating if we should do this or do an 8 am CP another day.

AM EMH for DS is at the very end of our trip. I don't know how tired we will be after 8 days at WDW.

I like the BK before the parks opens. It's so nice to see & take pictures as your walking to the resturant.

Go for the 8am ADR. We did 2 of these....for Princess Breakfast in Epcot and Play and Dine in DHS.....have great pictures of my dd doing handstands with spaceship earth and the socerers (sp) hat and NO ONE around!!!

Since you already did the am breakfast at MK and saw the empty Main Street (which is pretty cool), I would do the AM EMH and then the 1030a breakfast time. You could always grab something quick at your resort to tide you over (muffin, granola bar), enjoy EMH, then sit down for a nice breakfast while the crowds pour in. You could also grab a couple of FP and then hit those rides after breakfast. Another plus is that while everyone else is stopping for lunch, you won't need to. We've always found that we get so much done during am EMH---love am EMH!!
