OK...so we have 8:55 am breakfast ADRs for Hollywood and Vine and I am looking for strategy suggestions for getting Toy Story Midway Mania fast passes asap. I assume we will not be able to get them before "rope drop", but are we shooting ourselves in the foot by eating right at that time? Can my hubby go run and get them while we are still eating and come back??

Anyone have suggestions?

He should be able to leave and come back, but maybe just wait until you are done eating? They shouldn't be gone by them.

If you want fastpasses badly, send someone out wiht the tickets to get them. I also doubt they will run out completely before you finish eating, but you may have to settle for a late return time and I don't know how long you plan to stay in the park. At times, the fastpasses are gone by noon.

Was 8:55 the earliest you could get? We did H&V in January and had the very earliest seating. We were done about 5 minutes before rope drop. They had it kinda roped off so that we couldn't roam the park early but we were ahead of the crowd at rope drop. Walked onto TSM and got fastpasses. :thumbsup2

Honestly, I'd just book it to get the FPs at RD and be 10 minutes late (15, whatever) to my ADR. OR send DH to go get them while the rest of you check in.

the fastpasses may not be gone when you're done eating at around 10:00 a.m. but the problem will be just how late the return time will be on the Fastpasses. We've been there when the return time is 7:00 p.m. for a fastpass issued at 10 a.m. This is not during busy times of year (we go in January, May & September...not big crowds.)

while they won't be gone by then, the return time may already be lade afternoon....many times fastpass tickets are done being distributed by 11:30....so I would have hubby run over at ropedrop and get them....the timing then will be just about right for when you finish breakfast:thumbsup2
