8:55 am Hollywood & Vine ADR/ park opens at 9!?!?!

I have a 8:55 am adr for Hollywood & Vine on a day where Hollywood Studios opens at 9 am, will I be able to make my reservation. How does that work? and also will I be able to go get fastpassed for toy story mania?

You need to go to the character breakfast line and not the regular lines at the front gate. I would also get there by 8:40am (at the latest) so you can get to the restaurant BEFORE they start letting everyone else in the park to the rope at the end of Hollywood Blvd.

As for FP's, in theory, one member of the party should be able to leave the restaurant and get FP's for the group, but if you are not in the very front of the line, be prepared to wait a good 20-30 minutes just to get a FP.

If it were me, and TSM is that important, I would cancel this ADR or try for the 8am seating (or after 10 am).

One more piece of advice, pay the check as soon as you sit down. That way you aren't waiting for your server if you want to get out of there before 9am for TSM (we usually rush out around 8:40am to make sure we are first at the rope before they open the main gate).
