8:45 BOG res...yay or nay?

Hi all- curious what everyone’s opinion would be...I will be with my 4 year old son on a low crowd day in November. ( touring plans has it as a 1). I was able to get an 8:45 BOG ADR( park opens at 9, no EMH that day)...Initially the plan was to watch the welcome show (we've never seen it before) and rope drop Peter Pan. BUt now that I have the ADR...Should we skip the welcome show and try to get into BOG a little early? Maybe try for a FP for Peter Pan and take advantage of shorter lines in the AM? Could someone tell me how early we are allowed to show up for an ADR at BOG and if they will actually seat you early? Or just stick with the original plan and drop the ADR? Thanks in advance!

If I’m planning on going to the park I never do a breakfast ADR. I’m a rope drop person and that first hour is gold. Many attractions can get done with under 15 min waits then I do my FPs when lines get longer.
We usually do 1 breakfast ADR on leaving day when we aren’t planning on going to a park.

I’ll let others chime in on your specific questions, but just wanted to recommend (in case you don’t know this already) keeping an eye on park hours. November 2017 ended up having 8am openings for a large number of days in the month, with only a handful of 9am openings.

If they change hours on you, your once PPO breakfast won’t be PPO any more - so just something to pay attention to and have a plan B in mind if it happens.

Park hours have generally been being updated around a month’ish out lately.

But if it does stay a 9AM opening - I’d do the BOG breakfast.

You can show up early and they will seat you when you arrive for your PPO meal. No need to wait until 8:45.
