Cruisers: Andy(Verandah Man), DW-Hazel, DD-Angelina, Dmom-Vi,

*Sunday August 24 2003*
It's Sunday morning 5:30 and I am awakened by our cabin phone ringing. I know we didn't order a wake up call, so the ringing of the phone at this ungodly hour concerned me. My Dsis was on the other end of the line from the cabin next door. My Dsis was in a panic, she couldn't find her fannypack, which contained all her spending money, her KTTW card, and her photo I.D. that was needed to get on and off the ship. The last time she remembers seeing it, was at Animator's Palate at dinner. Calls were made to Guest Services, and Security, even a trip to Animator's Palate, but no fannypack was found. My DW went down to check around, and stopped at Guest Services and picked up another KTTW card for my Dsis. Upon returning back my DW went to give my Dsis her new KTTW card, and to let the others know, what the t-shirt of the day was. As my Dsis was reaching into her bag to get her t-shirt, she discovered her fannypack, it how somehow fallen off the bed, and landed in her bag.
I went out onto the verandah about 6:15 this morning and took some beautiful photos of our "First Sunrise at Sea!!!" This is where I am now sitting writing my trip notes, while my DW is sitting here beside me having her morning cup of tea. We have our Character Breakfast later this morning.
First Sunrise Aboard The Magic Sunday 8-24-03
We headed down to Parrot Cay for the Character Breakfast but DD stayed behind in the cabin and slept, she had a late night last night, and she "IS NOT" a morning person. The five of us adults had fun at the breakfast with our tablemates the Parkes Family!!!
After breakfast, the five of us headed down for the DVC Celebration Members meeting, where we received some nice give aways, in fact, I'm using my new DVC mouse pad right now!!! My DW also won a fannypack and water bottle holder.
On the way back to our cabin, to wake "Sleeping Beauty" up, we stopped at Mickey's Mates and bought some t-shirts, a baseball hat for my FIL(belated Father's Day Gift), a Christmas Ball for our Christmas Tree, and a DCL pen with the Magic that floats up and down when you move the pen.
We ran into DIS'ers Lisa (disnylesa) DH Dean, and DD Dina, still while in Mickey's Mates we bumped into Trish(Tricia T) and DH Mike. Upon leaving the store, we ran into more DIS'ers, Diane (allshookup) also, Andy (*ABear*) and his wife Ginny (gdulaney). It was so neat to keep running into our fellow DIS Family onboard. If you are crusining soon, may I suggest, you find out which other DIS'ers are cruising with you, and get in touch with one another before your cruise.
Today's weather is beautiful and the sea is very calm. Tonight we have Formal Night and we will be celebrating my DD 13th Birthday, and my Dsis 50th Birthday at dinner. We will be in Parrot Cay for Formal Night.
DW and I had some very nice photos taken during the Captain's Gala, by the time we headed to have a photo taken with Captain Tom it was too late, and I had my captains hat with me for him to sign, oh well, maybe next cruise!!! DD did not want to get dressed early and join us for photos, not cool at her age to be seen mom and dad, especially if we are getting photos taken. It was a good thing we went back to our cabin around 7:45, we found DD sound asleep with the T.V. on, we woke her up and told her it was time to get ready for dinner.
We had a very nice dinner at Parrot Cay, I selected the Pork BBQ Ribs, with sweet potato sticks and cole slaw. After dessert, Tommy our head waiter, and Roberto our server, came over to our table carrying two birthday cakes.
After dinner, DD went back to our cabin to change and head up to be with the other teens, while mom and dad went to hear the adult Dueling Piano's Show. I enjoyed the adult show much more. DIS'ers Mindy (pickles61) sat with us during the show, as Lisa (lisak1) and DH Jeff sat nearby.
On the way back to our room, we ran into Steve (Laundry Man) from the Radisson, and his DW Jackie, we stopped and talked with them for about 30 minutes(stop lurking and start posting Steve and Jackie). As we were saying good night to them, Angela (texanlvr) and DH Zach came up to us, and we started chatting with them, before we knew it, it was 1am. We got back to our cabin about 5 minutes before DD came strolling in.
I can't remember when, I have had, so much fun!!!
