8:20 adr at HS with 8pm closing

I have an ADR for 8:20pm at Sci Fi on 2/12 but the park closing time is 8pm. This is also the time for Fantasmic and the Star Wars projection show. Seems like I should be able to watch 15 minutes of the SW show and then hit my ADR, but I’m concerned about whether or not they actually seat that late. Is this a mistake?

Also, how late will busses run to CBR since Skyliner will stop at 9? I know we could Uber/Lyft, but I’d rather use the transportation I already paid for. Thanks!

Buses run a full 2 hours after park closing. If they booked you for 8:20 then they will seat you, just don't be late as that is likely one of the last seating times of the night. There is something about walking through a mostly empty park 90 minutes after closing. You will be fine.

We had a reservation with a similar time frame a few years ago and we had no issues using the bus to get back to our resort. They were sharing at that time of night, POR and POFQ. Disney won't leave you stranded.

We did the exact same thing in early January. Had ADR at Sci Fi at 820 with park close at 8PM. No a problem at all. Just beware where you are in the park as you can only go a certain way after 8PM so you may get stuck taking the long way around.

Nice thing about an 820 is we were seated immediately and the service was pretty quick. We were in and out in under 1 hour so had no issue with Skyliner.
