Hey I'm on this cruise!!!

Hi, I have a 16 year old son who will be on this cruise, but he is not on the DIS.

If anyone wants to Facebook him, he is Mark Dyken. There are 2 Mark Dyken's - the one with only 5 friends is his dad and not him.

Mark the teen has a picture of him with a crown on his head, making a funny face.

He is kind of shy, but would love to meet people before the cruise.

My granddaughter, Nicole aged 16, will be on the cruise with me. She is shy about meeting people online, but I would love to set up a few "ride meets" at WDW before the cruise if we can. We are arriving Sat around 6pm, staying at the Boardwalk Villas. We'll be at the MK on Sunday and probably the AK on Monday. Or would love to meet at the sailaway party!

so myself and Disney Freak 5 met off this site and cruised in April together on the Magic. we had a great time and are super close now. tell your kids not to worry about the sketchiness of some internet things, we are totally cool (well, we think so ) DEB IN IA i looked on facebook and the mark i found was a little kid in a crown? is that him?? no worries. it will be theeeee best vacation ever! myself, Disney Freak 5, and some of our other friends will all be onboard this vacation and we will meet and be friends with everybody before the first night is over. even if someone wants to be shy, we wont give them the chance because it will be too much fun. i honestly think i laughed more on my last vacation with this group than Lord knows when. it will be a blast. we promise!

kathleena- i wont be staying on the disney property before hand, but we can deff meet at the sail away party or even before. have your daughter check out the site and read what i put above and below!

the last group of kids who met on this site (including Disney Freak 5 and myself) had an amazing. we all facebook-ed before, texted, and now are all good if not best friends. if its the first cruise or the 10th its still nice to go in knowing somebody. I'm Rebecca and i promise I don't bite. we are going to make sure that this cruise is completely thee best vacation ever. so let your kids know that. we are already talking with the couselors that we know oboard and have been promised that this will be the best yet. get them on here or maybe we can all talk on facebook or email or whatever theyre comfortable with. these vacations are going to give them memories that last a lifetime [to use a cliche] but just let me know if you have any questions about anything =] take careee! and see you in 6 weeks!

YES, the little kid with the crown is our son Mark. I think his sister put that picture in of him. He's 16 now, and towers over me at about 5' 8". He is kind of shy, but if you Facebook him first, I'm sure he will respond. Also, you can text him on his phone - 319 321-6159.

He and his sister are not into DIS'ing, but I'll try to upload some recent pictures of them soon. I don't know if you saw this one that I posted on the main meet thread:

Is anyone interested in The Wild Side teen excursion at Castaway on the first day?

Mark will be left by himself, as me (his mom), his dad, and his older sister will all be at an Adult Cabana.

I didn't want him to be lonely, and I thought this excursion might be nice, especially if he had some friends with him.
