8/17-20 AKL rack rate - how can we get free dining added?

DS & I staying at AKL 8/17-20. DH joining us 8/19-20. Before AKL 8/12-17 DS & I will be at VWL DVC points. After AKL 8/20-26 the 3 of us will be at BCV.

What would I need to do for DS & I to get free dining while at AKL? I wasnt planning on park tickets but of course that wouldnt be a problem. DH will only be there 1 night. Do I need a 3 day ticket for him too? Should I just get the 1day ticket & dining added? Would that need to be separate reservation? Can I have 1 day ticket and 3 days dining? (probably not!)
Are the park tickets good for 14 days but the dining needs to be used during the time at AKL?

If you want the dining added to your AKL stay you will have to get at least a one day ticket for every member in your party. All ticket media has to be the same, which means you can't buy a one day ticket for your hubby and have a 3 day for you and DS in the package.

Honestly since you hubby will be there one night and if he isn't going to be using the dining, I wouldn't add him. But he won't be able to take advantage of EMH without a room key so it really is up to you.

Yes you and ds could get the free dining for all 3 nights with just a one day ticket for you. And yes the dining will only be avail while you stay at AKL. It will begin when you check in and will expire at midnight your check-out day.
