There is a new law governing time change. Really, there is. I'm not just making that up.

We believe you and we know you know ALOT about the Government.......

shhhhhhhhhhhhh........it's a secret............

Thank you for not going into the details like my brother did during Thanksgiving when he worked as an EMT. Course, when he moved on to being a firefighter he didn't let us down made sure to tell everyone at Easter what he found roasting in someone's oven at a fire. Meow. :sad2:

Jen That's Sick :lmao: :lmao:

I guess it's the same all over the states, never liked working Mondays because it's always busy. Fri, Sat nights busy. Then you have a different population come in after 11pm.

especially the full moon syndrome :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Paula I agree!! I love putting faces to the names.............And we all know how I love knowing the NAMES :lmao: :lmao:

Lisa did I tell you today how much I miss our website......well I do, I do!! :lmao:

I my general ER experience I have seen 2 tpes of ER docs
1. the traffic cop
2. the hands on treat em and street em

You sound like the second which I always respected way more than when a patient sat there for hours and noone came to evaluate them......as they circle the drain......

DAle (my DH) absolutely hates the ER staff here. They are very untrained and can't even pack a nasal bleed. He gets the calll atleast every other night for epiglotitis and of course it rarely is. He also gets alot of calls for the chicken bones that somehow were able to be seen on xray....

Date change in 2007

On August 8, 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday in March and end the first Sunday in November. The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retains the right to resume the 2005 Daylight Saving Time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete.

I usually have the chart written and DC instructions printed before i see them.

As for ENT, I rearely call them in, if I do they have to go to the OR beacause they have an arterial bleed, have a crit of 6 and BP of 90 on pressors.

I tried for three hours with Darth and Darth's DW, big shot DR's, but cannot get a photo onto my sig. When I learn how, my sig will improve.

I killed a bag of PB kisses over the weekend & a small bag of the caramel ones the past two days. I need to stop this trend!

The maintenance man at work always brings in goodies. Usually Friday's he'll stop at the grocery store and pick up day old items or sell by today things for a local church and grabs some stuff for the office.

Anyway, a week or so ago, he picked up almost 60 bags of PB kisses. I've got 4 bags stashed away in my desk. Thankfully when I'm there, I actually forget they are too.

Us to. It's a family thing. DW, DB, his wife, sister nurse, mother nurse.
