OMG!!! My DMom swears up and down that she didn't press us about a baptism/christening for DS but DW and I totally remember her harping about it!!! Problem is we ran afould of Catholic dogma ...(a) I'm not Catholic (no biggie according to our--then--local diocese) then (b) we got married in Vegas (NYE ) (c) we, of course, didn't go through Pre-cana but the final straw (d) was that DS was over a year old when we were inquiring about a christening! The way the lady reacted, you'd have thought we asked them to christen Damien from The Omen

BUT! DW found out that a Liberal Catholic Church location was in town and they were much more reasonable--and forgiving--about things
