Good night all. Guess, I have to wait until the morning to see if we have school. Sometimes they post it at night but I guess not tonight.

You are arranging for a pallet to be loaded onto the ship that morning...right? :lmao:

I thought MR was going to give all of the participating adults an assignment. We must each smuggle a bottle onboard, plus a pack of batteries.

Wow, I finally caught up. When I left work I only had about 20 pages to catch up with, when I got home, I had 47.
:welcome: :welcome: to all new people that joined
:bday: :bday: to all that is having a birthday today
My day did not go so good, I got a bunch of ground up stone all over our cars and work trucks. Let's just say I was not a happy camper when I called the owner of the stone place that is next to our business.
If anyone is traveling in this mess, please be careful and be safe.
I will try to check in later, Bye for now.

Hope that you are able to get your cars cleaned up.

Where's the blushing smilie when you need it? :)

Well, that's the truth. Why just last night we had a little discussion, which she initiated, about how if we're going on the cruise from Ca to FL that we have to go to WDW afterwards to see Cinderella. I told her we couldn't do that because they had to rush back to school afterwards, but don't worry honey... mommy will make sure you see Cinderella at Disneyland. She's a little confused about DL since she's never been there.

You know how it's easy to explain away all the Santas in the malls as being his "helpers"? It's kinda hard to explain how Cindy is in WDW but also at DL when they still truly believe.... so I just said hey, remember she comes on the cruise with us! So ofcourse she's going to be a DL before the cruise then go on the cruise with us- I mean like duh.

(that seemed to work- I hope she doesn't question me on it more in the next 18mo)

My kids are just going to figure that they take the same helecopter to DL that they use to get between The Magic & WDW. ;)

Well, I stopped by to say Good Night, not sure what the morning is going to bring, so I'm heading off to bed. We are having sleet and freezing rain right now, roads are getting very icy.

 Later All

Be careful out there tomorrow, Andy!

I did go on my honeymoon in Cabo so I can help with ideas of what to do there (granted that was 11 years ago... to the day).

Look forward to hearing from you and meeting in 18 months!

Doesn't the insurance price kill you? Anyone know if we can still cancel it with them and book your own?

YES! If you bought DCL's insurance, you CAN cancel it and get your own. :thumbsup2 I have a link to someone's post explaining that on our last cruise thread.

Yes, there are 4 on the manifest and I believe that Barb has one of the 2 that are left. We are just waiting for that one & the Walt to be claimed. ;)
I thought the Roy was claimed by someone already? I know I read it somewhere, if not on this thread...

No, no reading Lorri, only navigators and menus and gossip rags for us this cruise!

You know every cruise I pack at least one novel and always wind up reading People and The Star! Shhh...don't tell anyone but I read The Enquirer too....hey, inquiring minds wanna know :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have never read anything other than the navs on the cruises so far. Just no time. Maybe this cruise...

At the risk of starting a major discussion, I have a question.

SO.... I have been thinking.... Bad thing to do, I know.... but... I am wondering if those of us that dress up as POTC characters with the exception of CJS, Pirate ES, Mr. Gibbs, etc, will we be considered piratey enough for a pirate night or will people just think we are strange?

Of course you will look great! pirate: There are always people who see you in the hallway on the way to dinner & ask if there is something pirate going on that night. :rolleyes1 Even if they didn't spend any time researching the cruise before boarding...they could at least have looked at the blasted navigator!!!

I thought that was probably the case. Just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed something. I really appreciate all the hard work you have done with the website. That is not my talent at all.

No, you didn't miss anything I just forgot that it was there when I transferred it over with the update tonight. I am going to try to start working on the Kid's pages tomorrow.

My kids are just going to figure that they take the same helecopter to DL that they use to get between The Magic & WDW. ;)
Oh, why didn't I think of that. No need to explain how they are in two places at once, they just flitter back and forth on an helicopter. Genius!

The good news is that my kids' school is closed tomorrow (due to the ice storm).

The bad news is....they are driving me nuts!

(Yes, Lisa...that last line was entirely for your amusement...and they WERE driving me nuts today.)

You too, eh? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I am so glad that we don't get many snow days here. :wizard:

LOL! No smuggling necessary. But wait a minute!!!! This it in LA!!! YIKES! What does the CA port do with drinks????? I haven't read that here before. :confused3

I was just wondering that because I'd just read another post about 100lbs backpack and batteries and all that.. and I wondered if they'd allow soft sided coolers, with no ice, and drinks like they do at PC!

Then I started wondering- if the area around DL in CA is even a wet or dry county to be able to BUY drinks to bring with us to the port! :confused3

(ps. feel like I need to add that we're not really drinkers, but likewise I'm cheap and don't like the idea of spending a fortune when we DO drink. We brought wine cooler type drinks for me and beer for my DH. We came home with half his beer and more than half of my drinks- all of which are still in my fridge btw. That's since June... still there. Well my drinks are still there, DH drank his beer ofcouse LOL)

Welcome Sil! I edited your post to take out some personal information. That is why we are putting it on the secured website & not here. You don't want too much info out there. ;)
