OK - I'm ten pages back (at least) So I'll do my best Pyramid impression for the next few posts.
Oh, we've already started THAT in my house. DH has worn his dinner dress uniform on the the last 2 cruises.
2 reasons:
1. it's free
B. The man in uniform arm candy is one of the perks of spending 4 years as a cadet girlfriend & 12 years as a military wife.
He doesn't like the spectacle the uniform creates. I think he's hot! However, we've always cruised in March, so the dinner uniform is basically a black tux. In August, the dinner dress uniform is a white jacket with shoulderboards and black pants - basically identical to the DCL crew's! Yup, not going to happen this time. Now I need to find an e-bay special for DH. My guys will be in tuxes so I have an excuse to buy a new dress!
No, he should definitely wear his uniform. He deserves the attention for serving our country.
