dear ms. M. ...:flower3: . your situation reminds us all..how tough a
mother's job can be. just a reminder, i think it is significant..that
the caregivers are made aware ...your son had a recent & serious
head injury.

sorry, that you have this rough time to go thru. i do think, the critical
thing, is that you don't give up... . you have my prayers for
a complete recovery...:goodvibes

* i believe that..from knowing...a mother's :love: has no limitations.

just a suggestion..but once everything..gets settle down...might be a good
time..to do a lil'something...special ..for the both of you.:flower3:

I am going by Eurostar from its new $800 million station at St Pancras, to DLP, and staying four nights/five days at Disney's hotel New York. I like that one, its a four star and an easy walk through, Downtown Disney to the two parks and the Eurostar and RER Station.

I have stayed at New York before and enjoyed it, at least half of the reason to go is to experience the new fast tracks from London through Kent to the tunnel on Eurostar.

Where did you stay?

We stayed in the Disneyland Hotel, which was beautiful, we had a huge room and were right there at the entrances to the parks.

So is the Hotel New York anything like New York????:goodvibes

I would love to do a London/Paris trip one day and use eurostar.

Its set up like NY Skyscrapers, and has Manhattan restaurant and parkside diner.

Yellow NY Taxi cab outside and in winter a ice rink, on lake Disney.

Disneyland hotel is nice, on the entrance to DL.

Julie, we did this in April and it was a lot of fun. We were in London for a week and took one day to go into Paris and then back to London on the last train.

Yes, I do love my home town!

However, the girls really enjoyed Paris much more than they thought they would when we were there between the Med cruise and the Med repo last summer, and we've enjoyed London before . . . so that has been a thought for a future trip.

By the way, Jo, we see "Little Mermaid" tomorrow night so I'll let you know what we think!

hey fellow buckeyes [well, since we are living here now!] :cheer2:

...i read the sports ill.'s story..... ..why can't they keep to the facts...
instead ..of downgrading......players' efforts. [ do they really think a
team..any team..are trying to lose? ] and i can't help but wonder....
why don't they ever report the mistakes??? [ * the first step..in
problem solving..is to recognize the mistake..for corrective actions. ]
my prediction..they'll keep repeating...them..in future games.

then what funny...demanding changes...they kill me...i just feel..if
yhey were more accurate..then it wouldn't matter which team won..
except for the players...where it should be. after all, its just a game.

however, the reason..i'm expressing...i hope the real dedicated buckeyes
fans..are not to disappointed..as the team,i thought over achieved this
year...than any other! :thumbsup2 . also if i may, ...draw attentions..to
the same mag. next year rating....guess who's they have #2??? yep,
the same team..they were putting down...the o-h-i-o state buckeyes!
isn't that interesting? & somthing to hoot & holer...if you are a buckeye!
:yay:

..and no one does it better..than our own lil' sk8....even though she is
with me..and our delightful & entertaining....bobcats~ :thumbsup2

My son really liked Paris, where I thought he wouldn't

Looking forward to see what you thought of it
We are going in on Monday to see Phantom, we have seen it before but the kids haven't

My kids have seen Phantom so many times -- I think your kids will love it. My oldest had a birthday party many years ago (when she was about 10 I think) where we took a bunch of her friends out to dinner and then saw Phantom, and then got to go backstage (via a friend who plays violin in B'way pit orchestras). It was cool to see the Phantom's latex makeup discarded in a trash can! Hugh Panaro was Phantom then, he was very sweet and cute too -- I think the current Phantom is Howard McGillan who has been Phantom longer than anyone. My kids call him the "angry Phantom" because different people have different takes on the character and he definitely is more on the angry and less on the pathetic side!

Just noticed your signature. Does Valentine's day not fall Feb 14 in the USA, or are you just being organised?:rotfl2: Admittedly the shops here started selling Easter Eggs before the Xmas decs were down....

Happy birthday Latanya:cake: - pleased to say that altho' we share the same date, I've a few years yet to catch up (LOL)!

Another great newsletter - with so much being organised will we have any time left for DCL organised activities? I love the idea of the bracelets - do you think I could get mine shipped to me at the DLH? The postage would be far more than the product, and having travelled 5000 miles to get to me, I'll be taking it back - unless of course bracelets get frequent flyer miles:rotfl:

Anyway, less chat, more housework!

Celestine

Seen answered now, thought you had that measurement there, 14 lbs.

Thank you,

Since January 1st, I have only eaten at the three mealtimes, Breakfast Lunch, and dinner, I do not monitor how much at these, but eat sensible.

Then total ban on snacking, no Chocolate, at all, no biscuits, crisps (you call them chips) no McDonald's, so a complete ban on anything naughty.

Then increased to at least two fast walks a day, breakfast and lunch during the working week.

I will have to do more to keep it off, but BP come down as well.

Gee Andrew...my only weakness is Chocolate, the rest I don't eat anyway!!:rolleyes1 That means I should be skinny...right!:lmao:

Good news about walking and I bet your blood pressure will continue to go down!!:thumbsup2

Hi Celestine! OK, valentine's day is Feb. 14 here in the States as well -- so I suppose I am really just celebrating the Valentine's "season" with the thing in my signature line . . . just desperate for a holiday, it seems!:goodvibes

Is today your birthday???????? It seemed as though you were saying you and LaTanya share the same day, if different years?

In 15 days on the ship, you will find plenty of time for DCL activities -- we pirates won't be joined at the hip by any means, but you will find it is fun to know so may people to say hi to at the different activities, or just on the way to the beverage station, etc.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't get your bracelets at DL . . . we'll figure out all the details ahead of time.
