Fish extender? I copied a couple of pics from the FE thread and the web, then sent that with what I wanted it to look like to my SIL. She said she got it done this weekend and is SO excited because she's never done anything like this before. She's not sure if she's going to send it to me or if she'll come and visit and bring it up. I'd just like to see what it looks like. I gave her my basics and then told her to use her best judgement. We'll see.....





Well, I'm having horrible luck finding anything, so you may see me in flip flops, too! Found a nice pair of platform flip flops with sequins and beads. If I can't find anything else, you'll have to say Hi, are you Tina or Jennifer.





Had that problem, too. Course, I highlighted it, pasted it into word, then had to reformat everything cause I didn't like the way it looked.

Hope you see the FE soon. At least it's one more thing to cross off your list. Hey you got fancy flip flops..........not fair ! I will have to be looking out for some for me.

I've been on the phone with Katherine for the past hour.....her dh has now decided that it is *a stupid idea* to go to a *Theme Park* for vacation in Sept!
Her 25th b-day is in August and this is her b-day present!!! I told her it didn't matter if liked the idea or not it isn't his b-day.
I told her that I would front her the money for the ressie and that I KNOW that her Granny (MIL) will give it to her! That way her dh doesn't have to go or pay for it!

I told her last summer to rethink marrying someone that doesn't understand Disney!

Claire & Elvis will be sooo disappointed if he doesn't meet us in WDW! He also doesn't want to spend any of his time with us -- I don't think he knows that she tells me this stuff.
SHe told him that her family is fun -- unlike his!

Aaaahhhh.... the first year of marriage!

Just popping in to say hi! DH (alanapapa) DD14, DD9 and I snagged a GTY Cat 5 cabin yesterday! We had to do some fancy footwork to get it paid today, but we did! I can't believe we are cruising again in 89 days! This will be our 3rd DCL cruise. We did a 3 day in July '05, 7 day Eastern in March of '07 with my Mom and now we are on the EB Repo! Looking forward to getting to know people! DH and I are are already signed up for The Pirate Zone, now we just have to try and catch up with everything!

If you plan to have a fish extender, please PM me with your room number or GTY category
I will periodically post the list and will revise as cabin assignments come in

As a reminder: this is not a competition, and no one will judge the quality/quantity of your gifts, if you choose to give them out . . . it is about having fun and getting surprises in your fish extender. All you are promising when you sign up is that you will have something with pockets hanging on the metal fish outside your cabin door and would accept/appreciate goodies being left for you. I will also post on the pirate zone planning boards, but would prefer getting PMs here with the information.

A final list, organized by floor, will be available by a week or so before the cruise. Any last minute cabin reassignments/upgrades can be listed on my cabin door (6050) during the cruise.

This makes a TOAL even more enjoyable!

I wish DCL offerred a "class" on a sea day where they could even SELL DCL scrapbook pages, sitckers, etc. Lots of people would even be willing to pay a fee like you do for the tastings.

It would be a lot easier to just show up a make a page or two and take them home in a Shutters-like folder.

And....yet another opportunity for DCL to sell things.

Seriiously- I read your post and I was like what? tom said he cancelled? that must have been a post I did'nt read- but I went back and it was the same post I read.

DS9 is FAST. Like scary fast.

His school has a running club that meets once a week in the spring & they have a track meet with 2 other schools. That was last night.

DS9 (3rd grade) ran the mile in 7:20. Only 3 5th & 6th graders beat him.

THEN after running the mile he ran 3rd leg of the 4x100 relay. He got the baton in 3rd place - handed it off in 1st by about 10 meters. Not sure how fast he ran in the relay but he's run 14 sec. 100 meters in practice.

THEN he ran the anchor leg of the 4x400 relay. He actually lapped the last place team along the last stretch.

DH has always been a runner (track and cross country in HS), he usually finished 2-3-4 in track races, won a few. And DS isn't too far off the times DH was running freshman year of HS.

The dude is FAST!

This adds a whole new dimension to the bacon scramble/scrum....

I think it's wrong and IMO it doesn't make RCCL look good that they ban someone who gives them a bad review and refuses to remove it from the internet.
Yes I agree that if things were THAT BAD for them that they shouldn't want to continue to cruise with RCCL anyway- but that's not my point. LOL My point is that this doesn't give RCCL good advertisement.... who wants to give their business to a company willing to go to such lengths as this to keep people from complaining about their service and/or posting negative reviews? That doesn't sound like the type of company I'd want to do business with... (and if you read the entire article you'll see others were asked to remove negative info also- not just this one couple)

I told DH he would make a great wide reciever or cornerback in football. Unfortunately the crazy 2-hours-every-day football practice conflicts with hockey and he's been playing hockey since he was 5. DH doesn't want the boys to play football. Too dangerous. Umm, DH was a hockey goalie through college, but football is dangerous?
