Interesting....my Wish List on DCL has held steady for a few days now...the last time I rearranged it, I added things from this cruise, then deleted the old Med ones that kept showing up. In the past I would clean out the old ones before adding new ones. Maybe that's the trick? Add stuff before deleting stuff?

I dunno, I never used the wish list before and what I had set up went *poof* last week. Definitely going to check it a couple times today.

I dunno, I never used the wish list before and what I had set up went *poof* last week. Definitely going to check it a couple times today.

I have all of mine written down. My wish list disappeared last week too and was replaced by my 2006 items. I will be spending some time today talking with the family on a few options. Nothing like waiting to the last minute!

We are having an early morning Guitar Hero 3 Jam session this morning. I might need to play this tonight to keep myself up!!!!!

It looks like a thread a week now! Yes there are a lot of posts on the main board of people not keeping up, -last Sunday/Monday/Tuesday, was the first time I gave up on ketchup, and I easied off this week as on the previous thread I did a lot. With tonight coming up we are going very fast anyway.

Need to prepare #8 tonight in case....

Well, that's where we have the conflict. We tend to jump into the adventures and experiences. They tend to sit onboard and squabble, then criticize us/complain because we actually DID something. Sorry, but I have better things to do on vacation than to be responsible for the nephew while SIL picks a fight with MIL so MIL will buy SIL whatever she wants.

Did I mention that on our first cruise, MIL insisted that she be in charge of all of the booking? She registered the kids for the club...without our permission. She listed MIL, SIL and hubby's Aunt-in-law as those able to sign out the kids...and NOT US. She didn't even give us the password...for our own kids! Fortunately, we were able to un-do what she had done, but it was a whole lot of angst that didn't need to happen at all.

That's the way it is with my NY relatives. Everyone wants to control everything.

Hey Tina, Tanks for the good luck.. Its so nerve racking for us.. We are on 2nd setting again.. we like that better. I tried to sign up but who ever I emailed said it wouldnt hapen until after the excursion are booked.

Where ar you living now? i thought you went to Chicago??? now I see Myrtle Beach by your name..

Yup lived in Chicago for 9 months, enjoyed it now we bought a brand new house 6 miles from the beach. No more snow for me.

Bringing this over from the planning board in case anyone is interested. I really think this is what we are going to do in PV. I do mention cost being a factor, but the more I look at it, it's really not much more than DCL.

I know many of you are doing the ziplines, but due to cancellation policy issues I'll be doing something else in PV.

In my research I found this info. Sounds like something I would like to do with DS, but due to the cost, it would be cheaper for us to do a DCL snorkeling tour. However if there were others interested, maybe we could share the cost?

We caught the bus up there this past Nov and rented a panga and had a GREAT time, we were in Nuevo and took a taxi to Buderias at about 11 AM, walked around and grabbed a bus marked Punta de Mita, got there, walked around went to a beach front restaurant our friends knew OMG good!!
The Panga was 1250 pesos (including tip) and was a great deal for the five of us, the driver pointed out the first whale of the season and snorkelling just off Marietta islands were much better then I expected!!!
Blue feet bobbies all over (OMG so cute) we were out in the water for over an hour (at least ) and all felt that we had received an incredible deal on the panga!!!!
Lunch was back in PDM at the oceanfront restaurant and what a lunch!! Best margaritas I have ever had (on the rocks) and dh, ds and I shared a seafood platter for two (390 pesos) and WOW it was more then enough food and very good. We caught the bus back to Bucerias and were home at the Marival resort by 3:30 PM.

I've snorkeled at the Marietta Islands before it was really great. I enjoyed this much better than Castaway Cay.

I've also taken the public busses all over PV and never had a problem.

No credit card, but you might want some backups picked out in case your first choices aren't available

From tonight you can fill out credit card authorization and kids clubs etc, and flights but you can do that anytime so do not worry the website will go slow for a few hours

I would go for

Shore trips
Palo
then Spa, unless you want a set time for spa, some ladies like a slot just before formal night.

Leave the rest for another day.

... I must leave in 15 minutes so I will indeed miss this pirate sprint again! DRAT! We're going back to Santa Barbara to pick up Alicia and J from the Zoo sleep-over... and I have another family meeting me in 30 minutes - they're hitting the beach up there for a picnic and lunch exploring the town... then in the afternoon we have a Chuck-E-cheese birthday for one of the girls friends - so we're hustling back for it.

I gotta go finish the picnic preparation now.... good luck top to the lucky swabbie WHO GETS THE 3000TH HERE!
