Thanks Dis Board!!!!!

That will be great for Linda and the kids. My problem is that I don't like the taste (or non-taste) of plain water. I need something with flavor. I don't want to drink a ton of diet soda, and I know there's a ton of sugar in Gatorade. Guess I'll stick to alcohol. There's no calories in that, right? :confused3

I bought Crystal Light Single Packets to flavor my water!!!:thumbsup2 I also found them by Hawaiin Punch in a dollar store!!!:rolleyes1 Maybe not as good as alcohol but no sugar!!:lmao: :lmao:

Me & DH are bussing it....

DD is definately not going.....

I even had to call ATT today to put her cell on suspension....

Heck, come June i can even cancel that line totally and save $10 a month...

Sorry to hear about all your problems with DD.:sad2: :sad2:

Okay...who stole my Cruise Counter!

WT? Now it's back! I think I'm hearing "Neener-Neener" (Twilight Zone theme music)

Tornado's in the area again! I'll be sleeping with one eye open tonight.
Talking baseball to softball sized hail. Oh well,we do need a new roof! ;)

So now I'm wondering.....do we number our next thread #6 since this one is #5....or do we conitinue where our original got cut off??
We need to figure out something because unless they have closed those threads since the last time I noticed them (earlier today) people wil post on them and I had a HARD TIME finding which was the "current" thread. LOL

Looks like the day for the DL meet and greet is shaping up to be Saturday. By far, that's the day most of y'all who have pm'd me have said they will be at DL. Still not too late to get into the action !!!! Just send me a PM, and I'll add ya to the list............Which I will publish as we get closer...........Its almost April.........Bring ON the Mickey Horn !!!!! :cool1:
Saturday is good for us too and quoting this so I can remember to send you a PM. Saturday is good because DH is flying in Friday that way w'ell ALL be there that day (earlier in the week is just me and kids)

I'm not sure what you are saying there. we as in "yes"? but why would you say that in reply to my post? did your post get cut off or something?

Have you been brave enough to officially cancel her reservation yet?

I got an email from Megan's Music teacher (5th grade). She said in front of the entire class Megan pointed at her and did the "crazy" symbol. :confused3 I still contend her problem is maturity, or the lack thereof. The teacher said she was completely shocked as Megan had not said a peep in her class for 6 years now. Megan is going through a tough time these days. Her best friend for years does not want to be her friend anymore and she is just lost. Tough one for sure.

Sorry to hear that Coral. Be sure to give your DD extra hugs:hug:

Crystal Light also have some called Hydration. Kind of has the same qualities as gator aide with out the sugar. Might help with those very humid days on the ship or at the ports.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend - Debi - where is spring?? Lousy weather - stay safe.

DGS Matt has been sick since Friday - he's got to get over this fast as we're leaving next Friday to San Francisco for Spring Break.

I was even thinking that Megan would be really comfortable with these under her wedding dress. Her colors ARE green and yellow afterall!

For those who missed it on the Part Four thread:

Stace - I have these in black and white - they are truly comfortable. I like this color better though. I got mine from Robert Wayne Footwear. Where did you find those?

Todd please see Thread #4 for birthday greetings

:scared1:

NO! SAY IT TISN'T SO! HORROR! :scared1:  I missed our CPT's birthday? Please forgive me CPT! :worship: :worship: Seems I was a bit grumpy and the family decided that I needed some adult play time. I was whisked away to your part of the country late late Friday night and as I sit here typing - am flying through the Mojave Desert just passing Lenwood Road. We left the Orleans at 10:30 and hit Barstow about 12:30. Navigation says we should be home around 2:15 so I will be backtracking. LORDY! Some not-so-smart-add just flew by us going 100+ mph. Rocked us pretty good and its crowded for this time of nite.

Anyway, just had to post to subscribe. SHould be ok now. Now back to page 3

OH? CPT CRASH? I knew it was you the second I saw your "other" name - are you pulling an Enna :cool2: or did I miss something at the tail end of #4?

Be back later.

We have arrived home from Hawaii and had a wonderful time. We did our best to only say "Disney wouldn't do that" about a dozen times a day while onboard NCL's Pride of Aloha. It sure was no luxury ship but it suited our purposes fine and honestly it wasn't that bad... it just wasn't Disney :rotfl2: The islands themselves are beautiful and for anyone that is considering going to Hawaii, do go, you won't be disappointed. I'm sure we will be going back sooner rather than later - DVC resort can't open soon enough there IMO

I also see there are a few new faces so welcome to our DIScussion :thumbsup2

I'm sure I've missed heaps but I'm hoping to be around a little more regularly now.

Oh and I've enjoyed seeing people's comments about Crocs, I've been dithering over getting a pair but wasn't sure how I'd go with normally wearing orthotics too but it looks like its not a problem. I liked the shiny silver "formal" ones :lovestruc

I would, over the kiss(es):cool1:

Now Now Andrew- your doing so well, first Mickey Bars, now kisses - what next? :rotfl:

250 pages, 3750 posts they are closed, long threads were said to slow the Disboards down. Personally I thought it was Crash, but he says he is Mr Innocent.

AH! I see I am not the only one NOT fooled! :lmao:

ditto! I can't do heels but I can do wedgies!

Back on the subject of crocs- my husband also has issues with needing major arch in his tennis shoes and uncomfortable in shoes without the arch- he did not like the looks of crocs but I bought him a pair for our last (and only so far) cruise and now he's hooked. He puts them on for everyday home/taking kids to park/etc. use than he puts on any other shoes including tennis shoes. ;) He says they are very comfortable!
Personally as I said- I prefer the flipflop type and I've ALWAYS been one that couldn't wear flipflops because the part that goes between the toes HURT me. but with the crocs- doesn't hurt... it's all soft. :)
I like the wedges but I'll have to try on a pair before I buy them- because no matter how heavy *I* get my feet are always skinny skinny and narrow I can't wear wedges if my foot falls thru it and toes hang off the end. So I'll have to make sure it's narrow enough to hold my feet up in there. I hope so!

OK - first - can you see this in your avator? NEWSFLASH: BIP CAN DO WEDGIES! ???????

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Next, DH lasted about 1 year before he caved in - then for Xmas he asked for a replacement pair and got 3 and one was those new type with an insert. I got them too but the inserts makes my feet sweat. I'll just wear my socks mor comfortable and they don't stink. Best part about crocs? You can wear them to the parks and get them wet. No more stinking leather tennis shoes! YEAH!

And as for skinny feet - I once saw a lady with toe overhang!!:scared1:

It was kinda gross - here she is all dressed up and looking nice and then you look down and her toes are literally hanging over the edge of the wedge and clawing to hold on. :faint: NOT A PRETTY SIGHT I TELL YOU! :scared1:

:wave2: Paula - can I be the first to :welcome: you back. Glad to hear Hawaii was all that. Believe it or not that is one place I have NOT been too - didn't have any desire to go there until I found out Disney would be there in the near future. So guess where I have to fit in Hawaii sometime????

Anyway, I was gone for a few days and missed a lot from what I am starting to gather. Must of been a slow weekend. Either that or chat was a blast.

Anyway, hope Middle Earth warms up for you and do try the Crocs wedges - they are nice an don't look all that bad. But I still have a hard time with the price. Run about $40-$60 down here.

OK - just passing Hesperia and hitting Cajon Pass in about 5 miles. Some darn idiot flies by us doing 90 mph and then slows down in front of us to 55 mph. NOT-SMART, NOT-SMART, NOT SMART!!!

This is like the 5th time they've done it - why can't people be smarter? I want to make it home in one piece!!!!

I say fluke......they say flunk.............you say coach...they say couch!!!

We are too busy having a good time to worry about a little spelling!!!;) ;)

Remedial spelling for Cheryl........... as always!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Just don't flunk out of this one OK Cheryl? ;)

Where's Julie???

On a cruise,

On the Wonder 08/17/2008 Thread?

I had been wondering this myself and then realized that its spring breakmonth over here. I was going to wait until Monday evening and if she didn't make an appearance, I was going to PM her. But looks like someone mentioned her plans. WHEW! I was starting to wonder.

As for me - Sorry forgot to mention this earlier

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY CPT!

Hope your head's recovered fine. All that :cake: (:lmao: ) can really give one have a :headache: (not that :drinking1: won't either. Or for that matter  either. )

On that note - we have hit Pomona so we should be home pretty soon. I like this - DD's asleep in the back , I'm DIS-sing and DH is listening to Country which I can take for about 16 minutes then I'm so done.

OK I probably need to start shutting down as we will be hitting the 605 in a couple of miles - and my ears finally popped so now I have to listen to Prime Country for the next 20 minutes. :sad2:
