Ahhhh, the fine art of egging! Usually done on Halloween, "egging" is literally throwing eggs at people, buildings, cars, etc.

Ooo.... well I DO know what egging is ... I am a mischief maker after all. HOWEVER, my confusion is in why mention this Patti person as being egged? What was going on here and I am really confused about it. Was her home REALLY physically being egged or is something else going on?

I know... why am I even asking? Well... I really don't get where this CAME from (as a thought). :confused3

Am I the only one who didn't know WHO this Patti person was? AND ... I must be missing something ... as what is the big deal or iside message about the egging thing here?

Vivienne Patricia "Patti" Scialfa ("Skal-fa") (born July 29, 1953) is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist, best known for being a bandmate, and later wife, of rock star Bruce Springsteen.

Patti was widely accused of being the reason why Bruce left the E Street Band behind in the early 90's

Thank you Tom,I knew I could count on you for an informed opinion. I have no photographic skills whatsoever...just point and click.

I have Alicia hunting for this Target digicam deal. If she find it - I'll have her buy all of them ... or at least one or two spares. AND if I do have spares we'll offer it here to anyone who wants one. We'll enclose seperate receipts and so on so you can get the rebate. Now I'm trying to hunt backwards to get the model number and fish for the rebate online - so I can confirm to Alicia that we can have this digicam for $79 NET of taxes.

You most likely know I try to help out on the Main cruise boards, and answer some questions there, but in the last couple of nights, I feel like I am being 'shot' down everywhere I go.

Not paranoid, but when you try your best to help some posters are not happy,

One asked for a 'menu's link, I posted one that I knew off, and then another post comes in, ''is it current'' the OP wanted current ones.-Well I think it is?

REAS, try to help on that, and suggested when it comes out for 2009, check the package ensure it hasn't changed, another post back, 'its never changed, spoken to DCL'. Actually it has, rain-forest pass for couples massage for example, booking with DCL direct and Debbie, now on-line.

And the big one, there is a disser who lets say isnt into European cruising, and feels strongly the American family market do not cruise in the Med.

In all the years here, thats the first addition to my 'ignore list'.

Anyway, try to be positive, off to lick my wounds, I feel its time to give up posting on the main forum.

Sorry for rant!

Oh Andrew:hug: ,
you lucked out with hitting all the obnoxious ones didn't you;)
I have put some on my ignore list because of posts they made to other people. I figured that way I would have fair warning if I came across them again:confused3
As the board population expands, so do the number of people needing to be added to the ignore list:confused3 Fortunately my ignore list is still very short (not sure if any are still on the board in fact).
My DH tells me his Star Wars forums got really nasty (around election time) and he had to leave:sad2:

Take a break from the main forum, but don't skip it entirely. I'm sure the majority really appreciate all the wonderful info you provide:flower3:

Groundhog_Pirate_icon.gif

And Julie, Congrats on #4000. :cool1: How many of those can you credit to Andrew's comments? :rotfl2:

Nicely done Roger!

Say... how are things on your side of town? Do they have a lynching mob fully organized for the shool board members yet? If not - count me in fer helping out with carrying torches and a pitch fork.

Since leaving Pittsburgh, I had to learn the real names for all of these too (I used to have a site on Pittsburghese when I lived in the South). I'll leave it to the rest of you to figure out what some of these might be in te "real world"

Hey Crash, I believe the rebate was strictly for the Orange 790SW bought at Staples only. https://www.stapleseasyrebates.com/promocenter/staples/promotion.html?sku=712675

The Green 790SW is what was on clearance at Target.

Good luck.

I've got y'all beat. When SWMBO was going into surgery with our first (c-section), the doctor came and asked me if she wanted her tubes tied! Good thing I'm the kind of guy who knew the right answer, because I expect some husbands may have not answered that question correctly. I thought it was very odd she would ask me that. But then again, we were in a public hospital in Alabama (where my wife worked at the time).

That doesn't surprise me at all. My friend had her 2nd child and wanted to get her tubes tied and she had to have written permission from her husband before they'd do it!! But that's the Oklahoma,Redneck mentality for ya.

Guess who I saw today???

DSC00948-1.jpg

See Cheryl, he has pants :lmao:

Today was the 5 year anniversary of the card. They gave us really neat gifts.
A duffle with insulated bottom, blanket, lithograph, some pins and a gift card. Sad to say when I saw the van outside I knew there would be no Mickey Bars. :sad1:
They gave out the rice krispie ones with the chocolate on the ears.

I hate taking pictures.
but they insisted.

Great pics! :thumbsup2

Howdy Crew!

Just a quick posting. I've caught Crash's super bug and have been down for the count for the last week. I'm to the point where I'm simply trying to cough up a lung now. :headache:

On the other hand - I lost 7 pounds. Don't recommend the super bug as a weight loss program though. :sad2:

I actually managed to work a bunch today. But, I've hit my wall and will toddle off for a nap soon. This really sucks.
.

Hello everyone. Just thought I would pop my head in here and say I will also be there along with everyone else here.

WELCOME!!!

Sorry I haven't been around. I picked up a nasty, nasty chest cold in Vegas and have been trying to kick it before Disneyland next weekend.

I'm with you, Esteri, I feel like I'm coughing up a lung. :sad2:

In an answer....yes Crash you may be the only one here who did NOT know who Patti Sciafia was! :goodvibes

Egging Patti was simply in the evil mind of M! See below:

thunder snow...isn't that a Bruce Springsteen song?

probably egged a few houses in his day too.

Bruce, Little Steven, Max Weinberg and a carton of eggs on a mission.

Oohh oohh, they're egging Patti Scialfa's house!

Oh - I remember another one -
I am going to board my dogs for the first time for this cruise - it's going to cost between $1200 & $1600. (2 dogs)
For those who have experience w/boarding pets - what should I look for when I check out these places???

$$$ :scared1: :scared1: How bout i just leave my ST to dogsit for you? SHe needs money for a laptop and will take good care of them...

But seriously... 2 weeks in a kennel would be almost inhuman for my dogs (they're so spoiled; and i'm sure yours are too.)
THings to look at:
Look at the size of the runs
How are emergencies handled
Will they be walked? Is it extra? Is there doggie play time? Is area fenced in?
Is facility air conditioned?
Is food included or can you bring your own? (i'd stick with your own since changing foods often does strange things to a dogs stomach. It's stress enough in a kennel.)
Are they beds that can be placed in the runs?
How often are runs cleaned?
Have any dogs been sick?
ASK FOR REFERENCES!!!!!

$1600?????
That's about what I'm paying to bring one of my kids on TOAL!

Thus why renting ST out as a pet sitter could be more profitable.....

I'll leave it to the rest of you to figure out what some of these might be in te "real world"
