I'm OK with 2 bags each, since that's what we're limited to on the way to CA on Continental. I just hope they don't go down to one bag!

Although even worse would be to have to fly on USAir! We'll do just about anything to avoid flying them into Philly.

Nope...no check in or out for teen club. They just come and go. My big gripe about the teen club is that i thought many of the events were just way too late for younger teens. Many nights i found dd had just went back to the room and went to bed because she was too tired.
For instance they have a formal night and dance and it was like at 1 or 2 in the am.....

DD can last a little longer now but as she's used to getting up early...She's not much of a night owl.

Thanks Kristina, my DD will probably enjoy the staying up late. She is definitely a night owl. We have to make her go to bed on the weekends. She does not like staying up alone so when I go to bed she does. She has already developed that ST habit of sleeping in late.

I guess people have a diificult time of understanding that it is possible to make life-long friends just because of this board.

I was doing some snoopying around the other day. On Susan Egan's website it says that she is on a Disney Cruise the week of June 1.

It would be soooo nice if she was back, but I read somewhere she has commitments at our time.

Hello there,

Two quick questions.

1. DH is telling me the Romance Package is not available on 14 day cruises. Can anyone confirm?

2. There is no "wait" list for cabin upgrades.

All thoughts welcome.

Romance package is not offered on any cruise over 10 days!!
As far as I am aware not waitlist but ask around pay up time 90 days

We did the Romance Package on the May 2005 repo.. and were able to book palo's etc before everyone else..

Now on the old 2005 reo thread there was a lot of talk of bucking the system, booking REAS, than cancelling, in thoose days DCL didnt not have safeguards you would get to reserve at 105 days but could cancel without loss, things have changed.

Now whilst I remember all this banter, I cant remember anyone actually booking it, so maybe it wasnt released.

That kind of thing drives me crazy! But of course HP would have worn a Marco Polo robe, so he is covered . . .

Andrew, did you feel the earthquake? They said it was centered about 150 miles north of London, and I saw some damage in shops in Edinburgh . . .

Julie, are you asking if 'the world moved for me in bed last night'? Well it might have but as the Earthquake was about 200 miles north of us, it wasnt that!

The damage is over a wide area you are correct form south Scotland to Didcot, in the south, poor Didcot,

Julie, I thought that DCL gave you the same tier pricing of your original booking?

They do go off the same tier pricing from your original booking date as long as you aren't changing dates. If you are just going from one category to another for the same sailing date it goes by the original tier

Groundhog again- I called multiple times at different times of the day and asked for supervisors and was told consistently that if you upgrade you would pay the current price and not the tier you had at booking.
I never got any deviation.
I wish we could get someone from WB that tried to find out what their experience was. I would LOVE to upgrade but at current prices- no thanks!

I haven't done it for the EB but I have done it for a client on the WB and it was the same tier pricing as when they first booked in Jan 07.

In other earthquake news, (we were talking quite literally about the earthquake in the UK, right?) David (daipp) posted this account on our 5 night thread:

Just in case you haven't heard, we had an Earthquake in the UK last night. I had just finished reading in bed when I heard a faint rumble which quickly grew. It felt as though the house was moving along the street.

My son Alex was also awake and he rushed into our bedroom really excited Helen who was sleeping woke-up and angrily told me to stop shaking the bed

When it stopped I looked out of the bedroom window and there were lights goin on in our neighbours houses.
