So earlier today my entire family looked at me like I had six heads when I mentioned that I would love to do the PV zipline, but no one would go with me.

Whatever gave me that idea? I couldn't convince anyone to do any of the zip lines with me at Olympic Park in Salt Lake City this summer. NOW, they want to zip line. So Yay!

Can someone direct me to the non-DCL, kids-allowed zip line tour that I ignored when it came up a few weeks ago?

My DH and I are joining your crew for the zipline in PV..

We finally received the correct confirmation.. I originally received confirmation for Aug 8 .. Spoke with Ady yesterday.. and she sent a correction right away.. and kept apologizing .......we spoke for awhile.. Told her cannot wait to meet her and the staff..

Not sure if there is a list somewhere...

Hmmm while i stink at running. I could jog and/or walk pretty fast and finish.

I'd slow you & DH down but do we have anyone else at my level who might want to keep me company?

My dh would think i'm nuts but it would give me an incentive to train more often and kick my butt at the gym.

(well that and there's a few more lb's to get rid of before the TOAL)

I thinking about booking a flight with Southwest on Sept 1 to LAX.

Last year those dates opened up at the beginning of April.

Bring DH along as your partner - it's not that far & doesn't sound like constant running anyway. We would all have a blast!

:I still have my 30D and have been playing around with the 40D. I have unofficially become the St. Paul JV soccer team photographer and have managed to take some great action shots with my big lens. The girls are undefeated in league games so I hope that continues - just 3 more games to go.

Laura I used to enjoy taking football pictures when Adam played. I would print them and whatever didn't make it into the scrapbook I gave away.

It's come down about 15 cents a gallon around here over the last week - hopefully it will continue on this downward trend.

Adam has been keeping it on the up and up! Hhe bought a punching bag and gloves and has been exercising. The only place it could go is under our deck--so he goes outside in this cold weather and works out. He tells me it would be good for me to do also

We have a boat rented for Cabo for fishing. It is Alan & Adam, Mark & Bobby and Chuck (Castoff's DH)--there is room for 1 more if you are interested. Does anyone have any idea when Southwest may post their Sept. flight schedules. We are flying home on Sept. 6th. So far I haven't found any exciting air fare.

Wow this thread is almost as hard to keep up with as the last one.

I love the idea of the lime green door magnets and the luggage tags. I have Photoshop Elements but I still haven't figured out how to use it. I really want to learn digital scrapbooking, but this program has me lost. I guess I will have to try and play with it again to print a couple of decent door magnets.

We still haven't booked any excursions and I guess we are going to end up with the DCL ones. I chickened out on the zipline (even though I have done one many, many years...and pounds...ago). And I don't snorkel. But I hadn't heard anything about the Aruba beach excursion. Is this an organized tour? Beaches I can handle. Anybody know of any 4x4 tours? As long as somebody else drives I am up for that. We did one on St. Martin and I really enjoyed it, even if DH was driving and hit the Jeep in front of us.

Would anyone be interested in a variation on this one? I came up with the idea for our Jan 2007 cruise and one of the other DISers actually put it together. I could change the date or create it without any date so it could be used on any future cruise... Most of us on that cruise had this magnet (most printed their own and I made a couple for people who didn't have color printers) so you knew which rooms wer DISers.

I looked into an ATV one briefly in Cabo. Only problem was that you could only ride double if the passenger was 12 and under. Really not ready for DS13 to control an ATV by himself.

I forgot to take the pic in the beginning. The one with the lemon wedge was a Blue Barracuda (I think, it was a Blue something).

And just for equal billing.....

I hate red wine.....but I was very interested to se the tequila tasting!!!.This will have to be a must do next time. I had my choice of the last tour on the bridge or the tasting. I took the bridge tour.
