Well, all the pictures are on the Mac & I just don't understand it! Much happier on my desk top. I didn't think it was a huge request as I get to scrapbook it (not sure how with over 1000 pictures excluding those we "stole" from smug mug)! Anyway, he is now busy beavering away on the next project - converting a room into a hobby room/utility room. DH is one of those that needs to finish a project yesterday , anyway he is laying laminate floor so I'm keeping out of the way.

Lauren was looking through some of the photos & said "oh look its so & so". I've suggested she carry on emailing those she "met" before we even left the UK, but she's turned into a tweenager full of attitude at the moment, so I don't how successful that will be especially if we take away the laptop (as threatened unless the behaviour improves!)

I uploaded a bunch of my Aruba, Puerto Vallarta and other pics. Also rearranged some stuff, so the RBD Magic Quest videos are all in the right night folder. Most of Celestine's pics are moved to folders, but can't guarantee I have all the days right (camera dating of pictures was on British time....)

Thankyou! We're only between 5 & 8 hours ahead depending on where we were on the trip! Our body clocks however would have disagreed as we never got onto California time!

Hello,

How is everyone? Sorry we haven't been online much. Alot going on and just trying to find a job, then I had a surgery on Thursday and trying to get some rest. Have to have a catherder (sp) until Monday and can't wait til that is over.

The kids birthdays are this week and next. Skyler's is October 9th (she will be 7) and Ryan's is October 13th and will be 15. Wow they grow so fast. I just hope that I am able do something for them but I am taking easy too.

I need to catch up on how everyone is doing and hope all is well. I miss not being on the ship since we left and so glad to notice that we are all keeping in touch somehow and someway.

So while we're all anxiously awaiting the big announcements tomorrow I thought I would provide some fluff with a news story a friend sent me while we were on the cruise:

Description: A gardener in Frederick says it's been a great growing season, but it's not the eight bushels of potatoes he's harvested that's making him proud; it's what one tot looked like that's making the crop so special. For years, Rick Brown has harvested the usual: lima beans, tomatoes, corn and potatoes. But this year, something unique was growing in his backyard. He recalled, "I turned up this kind of lump dirt at the lower end where it was kind of muddy, and I kept wiping the dirt off of it and mouth just kind of dropped." When he wiped away pieces of dirt, Rick knew exactly what it was: a Mickey Mouse potato.

I hope as many as possible find what thier hearts are hoping for in tomorrows' 2010 schedule!

I hope everybody had a great weekend. The weather here was cool and beautiful. We went to the Renaissance Faire on Saturday for the first time since Zack was a baby, and it was amazing how much it has grown. We all had a great time. The kids got to shoot crossbows, play games, and ride some cool rides (all human powered, just like in the olde days).

The archery display was amazing. The archer was hitting targets from over 100 yards away. The joust was pretty cool too.

Linda and I got to sample all the wines. We picked up a couple cases, mostly hot holiday wine, to get us through the winter. Hailey got a little dragon puppet that sits on her shoulder and is controlled through a cable. And the boys got live baby dragons.

Then we found out that next weekend is going to be Pyrate Weekend at the Faire, so we're really thinking of heading back and getting another use out of our pirate costumes from the cruise. (And to sample more wine.) Plus, we missed some of the shows that we wanted to see. So if the weather is nice again, hopefully we'll be able to go.
