Yes, if you are concierge, you can find out your probably rotation...which of course [DON'T READ THIS STACEY!!!] is subject to change. :goodvibes

Ahhhh yes.....my favorite Disney song! They should set it to the tune of "Under The Sea" and play it while we're on hold making our next ressies.

"Subject to change.....subject to change.....darling it's better, when you don't know better....subject to change........"

I know what you mean, I have cut down a lot there, but it has been very nice for the last two weeks, and everyone seems to be helping everyone else on all of the posts and threads I read.

There are only 1 or 2 posters who seem to think their views are the only ones, and we all should adopt what they say. Its a big shame that thnigs have changed in 2008, from a freindly board, to Dissers PMing me saying they wont post anymore worrying about what 1 or 2people will post back.

Please click on the "report this post button" when you see something out of line. It is very difficult to keep up with all the threads. Some topics will obviously get more attention because we know that they are hot ones but sometimes seemingly innocent questions get turned into something totally unexpected. Those posts are tracked. Thank you...now back to your scheduled cruise planning. ;)

Question:

If someone on shore wanted to "call" the ship ..what number would they use?

I know it is expensive but I want to give a family member the number in case of SERIOUS emergency!

I think sometimes its the line where a 'debate' becomes a bit more, I agree there have been a number of nice questions on threads that have been turned into something totally unexpected.

I remember questions on a young girl using requesting to use the ship gym as she is a 'professional gymnast' in training ever day for major competitions for country, where the mum as really attacked, and another where a girl 6 wanted to put a bottle in the sea a message in a bottle type thing that became an environmental crusade.

Both those PM'd me after-wards 'In shock'. from a nice normal question to the answers. These were not regular posters.

Anyway as you say,,,,back to the cruise......

I'm having a hard time finding DISacceptable words to express my disgust at this whole situation  Can you guys all make me a promise .... if any of you see my kids acting inappropriately, and I'm not around. PLEASE feel free to speak to them and tell them to straighten up ... and THEN come and find me so that DH and I can deal with it. Don't get me wrong, my boys are very good kids ... but they can get silly at times and the younger one is a bit of a show-off

On our last 7 day cruise, we let our oldest ... I think he was 10 at the time, and our friend's kids go to dinner without us on formal night because we were going to Palo. We weren't going to do it, but the serving team assured us that it would be ok. We stopped in unannounced between our dinner at Palo, and the football game we wanted to watch in Diversions. Everything was ok, and we got an update from the serving team that the kids were very well behaved ... after they put a stop to one of them blowing insane amounts of bubbles in his milk;)

I think there's a balance to be set - in part because different people do have different standards of what is appropriate at mealtimes. Personally, I'm not a fan of the idea that kids should be well-behaved to the point of being cyborgs. This is largely due to the fact that I myself am not that well behaved and it would be terribly embarassing for the kids to be better behaved than I am :rolleyes1 . Seriously, I think mealtimes should be fun and there's room for a certain degree of chaos.

That said, I think we can all agree that throwing food at other tables (or even at the same table) and breaking dishes is WAY over the line. Let us not, however, overreact to the point of terrifying the kids (or ourselves) into having to acheive sainthood in order to be allowed in the dining room. This is, after all, our vacation. A certain degree of silliness should be not just allowed, but mandatory :cool2: .

(Or put another way - as long as the "silliness" doesn't cross the line, I'm much more likely to join in than to be offended or object).

Does he still drink from a wine glass?

OH YES!

We just went to dinner last weekend, and none of us were drinking wine....so right after we ordered, the waiter went around the table collecting all of the wine glasses that were "pre-set" on the table. Drew had a lock-hold on his. That waiter was not getting it from him! So, he asks Drew "you want to hold on to that, Buddy?". I told him "yeah, he'll be drinking his water from that. He definitely qualifies for the boy band.

I have been instructed by my psychiatrist to not visit the main boards any more. It's very bad for my already low self esteem. There's not enough medication in the world to save me any more.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Oh good, then I won't have to go and rescue you or threaten to post the granny panty picture.

Triple dog dare you! (Yes, minor breach of etiquette to skip the double dog and triple dares . . .)

Friends and family can contact you aboard the Disney Magic® or the Disney Wonder® by calling (888) 322-8732†. The cost is $7 per minute and CC information must be entered before the call will be connected."

Hi,

I checked the PZ poll for the Wenches' Lunch - 22 wenches have responded and 50% have voted for 8/21.

Anyone else want to respond please do so - I think we should pick a date and hopefully get it included iin our navigator.

8/21 Wenches???
hat should work for me, depending on what time. We have the GS patch swap at 9:30 and then after that I'm in charge of the badge work for them.

Just got word from my Docs that they spent a very peaceful night in Ontario. Room was nice but could have done with a better view. They went out to dinner last night with Christopher and Desiree's Docs. This weekend they plan on visiting the Route 66 museum before coming home on Monday.

pictures please!

My brothers actually did that to me back in my youth in Nebraska. It's no wonder I'm on drugs now.
